K750i on T Mobile dropping calls
I have a K750i from CPW on T Mobile mates rates PAYG, just for calls to OH who is on T Mobile. Trouble is, every time the phone rings, which is normally but not exclusively in the evening, the call drops just as I answer it. It then goes to voicemail (pay to access) and I end up calling OH back (more money for T Mob) so the call to me ends up costing me 15p+ instead of nothing - call back at 5p soon to go up too.
Does this sound like a phone fault or a network fault? If anyone knows about 750is doing this, please post. I am taking it back to CPW but know that they will say nowt wrong with it. It's the second red one I bought from them about 3 months ago. The first one died in a day. Are they now a bit bug-ridden?
I don't have a lot of phones lying around so hard to check the SIM in another phone to see if it's T Mobile. They say it 'could' be because their free evening calls cause a logjam in the London area.
Does anyone else on PAYG have this problem? Is there any way they can prioritise reception for contract customers (paranoia here
).

why don't you swap phones with your OH for a day or 2 and see if he gets the problem then you will know it's the phone or not.Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...0

i have had quite a few k750i's and none of them have dropped calls on me.
it may be a software fault, so try upgrading the firmware via SEUS and see if that helps0 -
would that invalidate the warranty as the phone's only 3 months old?
thanks a lot. sorry couldn't find this thread!0 -
