    Hiya everyone

I must be going doolally as I took DH shopping and let him put stuff in the trolley  So in Al*i the bill was £28.48 and Morrys was £11.21 so total spent was £39.69

I will have to work hard to keep under the budget now for the month as not half way yet :(

Had roast duck crown today with all the trimmings. It was gorgeous as free-range MnS on YS which has been lurking in the freezer. A little lo for tomorrow but don't know what ??

Forgot to add some spends at B&M which I'm going to include because they're things I'd usually buy at a supermarket.

£13.53 spent on 4 litres of Pepsi max, about 5 days of cat food, 2x cat treats, 2x packets of rice, anti-bacterial wipes, bottle of bleach, 3x pasta/noodle mugshots.
  • £6.90 in L*dl spent yesterday and £7.10 in Asd*.

So a round £14.00 to add to signature.

    Hi all,

    Budgets updated to here :)

    Welcome Angela84 :D

I've had a couple of spends over the past week. Fridge, freezer and cupboards are well stocked. We've about £50 to last until 22nd.

Busy week ahead - off to Guildhall in London today for an awards ceremony (I'm helping NOT receiving an award lol), working, then my BFFs wedding on Friday. Just practising my reading aaaargh!

Hope all are going well. Did SC SW pulled pork yesterday - lush!!!

    Have a good day all

Good luck with your NSD challenge dingdong, you can do it :j

I've spent the last hour hitting the spam button non stop to try to clear the board

I'm hoping for a NSD and a baking day. I am going to attempt to make a sesame seed coated bloomer and some snack things.

I too hit the Spam button several times this morning until I got fed up doing it!

Hopefully someone else will continue as there were still several boards with the same message when I last looked.

  • Thanks SoWorried...it is easier here compared to other places as we're not near any shops/take aways etc. - we have to make a conscious effort & drive 20 minutes to spend money:rotfl: ...but I do love to tot up each nsd. :D
I think living out in the woods helps us save on little/impulse spends each day, but def. hurts us in terms of how much I enjoy the feeling of "stocking up" when we go to the supermarkets. Hehe.

Couple of small spends this weekend including £1.20 on paella rice as I only realised I was out when I was about to start cooking! Cue mad dash to sains bobs at the end of the road. While I was in they announced further reductions on the ys stuff so I followed a man who was literally running up the aisle to get there:eek: There was only me and him having a look and no wonder as it was still so expensive. Small, the size of a Yorkshire, GF pies reduced to £1.85:eek:

A small spend in Mr T on GF cereal as we visited a big store as it is the only one near us with a petrol station and picked up some American brand GF cereal at £1.75 x 2 and 75p x 1. This was full price but really cheap for GF.

Total now stands at £160.07/£240 with 18 days to go. Most of this was spent in the first week, stocking up and using vouchers. The 2nd week we have only spent £28.36 so far and I have done the shopping for this weeks meal plan.

M - Carbonarra using left over gammon with GB
T - HM crispy chicken with SW chips, peas and sweetcorn
W - Pork, mash and veg
    Th - Chilli and wedges
    F -Chicken curry and rice
    S - Steak and chips
Su - Turkey steaks, stuffed and wrapped in bacon, roasties & veg

I have one last £5 off £30 voucher left for aldee that runs out Wednesday so may pick up a couple of bits for the following week but I have seen some half size cake tins I may get to make Christmas cakes in as my existing ones are a bit big and want some wine for my DSD Christmas gift which don't come out of this budget.
    Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
    Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
    Make £2021 extra income - £99.75

Well it looks like the rain is in for the day so I am declaring another NSD as I can wait until tomorrow to get needed items. Quiche for lunch and risotto for tea.

I am resisting putting the heating on as the children seem ok warmth wise even though my toes are feeling the chill - have to put an extra pair of socks on.

Hope everyone is having a decent start to the week.
