The injustice of the Blue Badge scheme

An update, LGO threw it out, as did my M.P, but RBC made a donation of £50 to Arthritis UK for the trouble they had caused me.
I have had a second knee replacement and am in constant low-level pain, I have difficulty walking, and fear the left hip may need to be sorted soon.
With hindsight, their original decision to refuse a BB was appalling..You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
In my local town centre, parking in the multi story is £1 all day on a Sunday, and parked outside there are vehicles - blue badge holders parking on double yellow lines (which I know they can), basically to avoid paying for parking, as there is no consession, but I'm thinking they are disabled and yet I'm closer walking distance to the town centre than they are!0

This seems a resurrection of an old thread Mr D.
Why did you not shop on-line at B&Q, and then you wouldn't have needed a BB?
Also do you now have a second-hand stair lift?0 -
I do not buy tiles on line, nor wallpaper, paint, bathroom suites, or potted plants. I cannot visit my GP on line, not take the memsahib out for a dosa. I cannot sit by the River and feed the swans on line, nor collect my granddaughter from the nursery, have a haircut, or visit my tenants.
Yes, it is an old thread, but as you will no doubt have seen, I updated it. I owe that to my fans. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
I was just pointing out the fact that there were other options for obtaining your goods from B&Q without a BB.
Personally I wouldn't buy any of those items from B&Q but they are probably suitable quality for your tenants.
You could ask for a home visit from the quack and there are good mobile barbers around.
As for the memsahib, she could rent an escort for a night out.
Those swans on the Thames are overstuffed anyway.
You would not need a BB to visit your tenants, as you would have arranged for them to have adequate parking.
Anyway as you are now a proud owner of a BB all is now cushty.0 -
Thank you Grandad, (sp), I am glad that that is sorted..You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
