is it getting harder or is it just me, I had two wins in August a bag and some Elbow tickets and nothing yet for September and a few losing e mails. I just got a losing email saying that I hadnt won a furby that Argos were giving away, there were loads to give away. I am just finding it harder and wondered if others felt the same. I did well last year and quite good the beginning of this year but since June it has all dried up!

I think it is getting harder to win than in the past, More people know about competitions now and are getting involved. I enter as much as I can, and I;m very grateful to all the posters.
best of luck to all, I've not had too many wins this year but I keep plodding on. I swear I'm addicted0 -
I am one of the "stay at home" people. To be precise I live in sheltered housing and rarely go out. I have five grandchildren and am not well enough to work to buy them presents so I try to win things for them and other family members. Today one of my grandsons is three years old and I won Megabloks for him.I would hate to think this is resented and I always show my genuine appreciation to OPs.0

This wasn't a comment to the genuine 'stay at home' people
i'm sure you know what i'm getting at0 -
I have noticed that my wins have been a bit thin on the ground lately. I get a lot less ticketed events too, I used to be able to go out at least once a month but now I have to actually pay if I want to go out
Perhaps we should have a 1 out 1 in system for the forum :rotfl:0 -
OK sax11 I think I know what you mean.0

I am a stay at home person too and yes my dog has entered a few and won, maybe I should get her to do them instead of me she might have more luck! I really dont have time to comp all day though and do about 40 per day and used to win about 4 a month, things have deffiantly changed in the last few months! I will just plod on and see what happens!:undecided0

Definately getting harder to win. I've had my quietest 2 months since records began. Mind you there are a lot more prizes being offered that I wouldn't want to win and therefore haven't entered so perhaps that could account for some of it.Prize fund 2025 £18 Prize Fund 2024 £16600

I've definitely noticed a change this year. Last year I won something of high-ish value (£100+) most months, including an iPad mini, several lots of vouchers etc. This year, aside from a £100 prepaid Visa, I don't think I've won any one prize worth more than £20. And rather than a steady stream of wins at around one a week like last year, I'm now struggling to hit one or two a month.
Like OP, nothing yet for September, and my August wins are in my signature so you can see I didn't win anything much then either!
I keep telling myself law of averages says it can't ALWAYS be someone else that wins!! Keeping fingers crossed!0 -
I do wonder sometimes if companies are running competitions via Facebook and Twitter these days rather than via their own websites."Knowledge will give you power, but character respect" ~ Bruce Lee0

August this year has been my best month ever, so I'm not really sure what I think to this really!0
