loophole easyjet flex

Hi everyone
I've read about the flexi fare ticket loophole from easyjet and decided to try it miself.
My question is: does this work only for UK/Irish people?
I paid for a ticket and by checking my bookings page I cannot find the option to change the dates (only see these: change seats,
Add Hold Items, Change a passenger name)
Much appreciated for any help
Edit: I will answer myself

Changes cannot be made within the first 24 hours that follow the initial easyJet FLEXI Booking.

Loophole closed mid May after being flagged up on Martin's weekly newsletter.
You must now pay the difference in fare if the flights you want to change to are more expensive.

Date changes are FOC.
You may have to pay the difference on ROUTE changes, if more.0 -

Are you sure that's right? The information from that link mentions paying the fare difference for route changes rather than date changes.0 -

I'm sure that's what was being reported in May, there was a thread about it IIRC.
I notice that the page from that link is dated mid-June so maybe it was 'tweaked' again subsequently.
I notice there is also a strict time slot available for dates to be changed, I would imagine that would severely restrict the previous loophole, even if it hasn't been completely closed.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

I don't think they closed the loophole by changing the T&Cs did they?
They just bumped the flexifares up so it was never economical to book another date with the sole aim of changing it.0 -
Hi all, not sure if better to bump this thread or start a new one... Is this 'loophole' still open? Has anybody had any experience with this? I know you have to wait 24 hours but are the dates all changed online or do I need to ring somewhere up? Looking to book flights from lgw to Portugal on 7/7/15 to 16/7/15. What date would I need to book flexi fares from to enable me to switch to these dates? Is it 3 weeks ahead or only 1 week ahead? Ie 30th June or 16th June??0

How much are the cheapest flights to Portugal at the moment?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

It's a moot point, flexi fares aren't available on that route for your dates, they only go up to March 11th.
Looking at the price of fares for June I can't see how you would save anything by booking a flexi fare, they're not cheap anymore. It's only around £45 each way for the whole of June, why would you want to pay £150+ each way just so you can change the date to the one you want, which is only £45 anyway? Is that all of them, Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Funchal?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

Yes.
It seems to be the same on all routes, I have flights to Barcelona for next May, no flexi available and flights to Milan in August, no flexi available.
Perhaps this is their way of closing the loophole, they don't release the flexi prices until they're way over £100.
Seems if you want a cheap flight just book standard for the date you want, waiting for the flexi prices could be a very expensive mistake.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
