jlhmd666 - The onion marmalade sounds delicious. Could you post the recipe please?
CertainlyIt is another MSE'ers recipe and I am so glad she shared because it really is delicious and so easy to make
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=66346626&postcount=64ok heres my take on onion marmalade.........4 medium onions chopped,4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar,4 tablespoons honey/brown sugar. in a pan put a blob of butter and melt and slow fry onions, also can add acrushed garlic clove at this point. add rest of ingredients and cook it down till a jam like consitancy. that's it. put in pot and keep in fridge. I make 5 times this amount depending on who its for. this yields 2 pots worth. I tend to add for Christmas either mixed spices or nutmeg again depending who its for cheap and easy xxx

Must be a general flare time - my lupus is playing me up today; I have one of the awful crushing headaches that's not actually a migraine, but is every bit as unpleasant, and I keep having to stop what I'm doing and rest, as the fatigue suddenly hits like a sledgehammer.:(
Mr LW has been to the monthly farmers market so we're stocked up with eggs, and have a whole shelf in the fridge full of cheese. The cheese we buy is all made from the milk from one herd of cattle, and is all vegetarian rennet, so it doesn't upset my tum. Good stuff!
Once he got back, Mr LW took the Hairy Hooligans outside for a game in the garden while I made a cheese, onion, tomato & Qu0rn quiche.
We still have some tasks to get done this afternoon, but I'm not sure how much I shall be able to cope with doing.
I hope your headache has eased LW. I do wonder about the time of year as many people seem to be having flare-ups about now. Hopefully you managed to get a few tasks sorted without overdoing things
I made carrot cookies today from the 'We'll Eat Again' cookbook. No-one knew they had carrots in them and although I have told OH, Miss 'I don't touch vegetables' is none-the-wiser and really liked them
I am tired out now after sorting baths, hair etc. so am enjoying a peaceful mug of coffee2016 Grocery Challenge January: £296.20/£300 February: £262.05/£3000
