Afternoon Sunday people.
I am having a stay cation day. I was offered a trip to a car boot sale but turned it down. I felt I had spent enough in the CH yesterday.
This morning i thought I would do my first order with Approved foods but gave up as every page turn the site went down.
I felt this online shop sold a lot of biscuits/crisps/sweets/chocolates.
I need more basic foods like bubble bath/coffee/dinners.
Perhaps this shop is not for me.
i have been moving things around in the conservatory. Trying to make room for some plants that are on the patio to come in to over winter.
Dinner BBQ Turkey fillets - should be chicken but we had turkey in the freezer.
Will be eating with Tesco golden yellow value rice. We like these packets. The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -
Hello All:hello:
Quick post as I am working
Sorry to hear of the Flare ups.Its always from September onwards that people seem to start getting them again
Hope every one starts to feel better soon.
Today was another nice quiet commute in very little traffic and nice(ish) weather.
Ive forgotten to bring my phone and was very annoyed that I did.Not for the phone but the radio as there is no one else in today but am actually enjoying the total silence here
Anyway back to work! Talk Later
Everyone have a nice safe OS dayNOT BUYING IT 2018!
Consumerism is.....buying things you don't need with money you don't have to impress people you don't know and probably wouldn't like even if you did know them.0 -
I have a Lakeland airer, it works best if it's covered with a duvet to keep the heat in.

Must be a general flare time - my lupus is playing me up today; I have one of the awful crushing headaches that's not actually a migraine, but is every bit as unpleasant, and I keep having to stop what I'm doing and rest, as the fatigue suddenly hits like a sledgehammer..
Its the fatigue that gets me too LameWolf, The pain I can cope with, just, the fatigue kept me in bed till lunchtime yesterday, just could not raise the strength to get out of bed. Slightly better today, I upped my medication last night, but still do a bit and then have to sit down. I slept for an hour after lunch.
I am fizzing. I bought a chicken from Aldi when we went shopping, put it straight in the freezer, defrosted it in the fridge yesterday, its stinks, its obviously off, so its gone in the bin. I will be ringing Aldi on Monday to complain. We bought it at the Aldi in Grantham, will not be using that Aldi shop again.0 -

The lurcha wouldn't settle last night, he's sometimes like that when his Dadi is away so I was up with him prowling round the house until 2 am, feeling quite jaded .
I sympathise as Molly Doggy had ONE of her nights when she would not settle at the bottom of my bed. She ended up back to back with me and then scratched me on the head to wake up. I got up with her and, like you, followed her around for a bit until I plonked her in her bed (that normally only happens when Im exasperated by her - and I was). I went back to bed, she came up and chewed my box of tissues but eventually settled at 4am - Im definitely having an early night and let OH deal with Molly Dog. Poppy is always so good at night - kids call molly Princess Molly but she is an elderly lady now so I think she deserves some leeway - oh thinks she is playing me!I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Hi MOLLY it's difficult to get cross with them when they're so obviously upset by something out of your control isn't it, but it's also very difficult to stay level when you are tired out too!!! We have an awful lot of foxes in the village this year, more than I've ever known and they 'yike' at night and come into the gardens so they're quite close and I could hear them, I think in a neighbours garden and I guess that's what unsettled him poor old fella. I'm sorry that Molly puppy was out of sorts too and sorry that you obviously saw as much of last night as I did love. Lets both hope for peaceful puppies and more sleep tonight, good luck, Lyn xxx.0

MrsMH- I'm so glad it went well with your DS
All with flare ups - I hope things settle down again very soon for you x
I managed to weed the garden and DH tidied the garage. Did food shop and helped DD with her homework, also 3 loads of washing. I'm quite pleased with all that's been done today
Diet starts again tomorrow and I will have a good tidy up in the morning. Off to read my herb books now, have a lovely evening all x0 -
Quiet day today with Dds looking over old photos and diaries with much hilarity and comments.
DH getting rid of as much stuff from garage etc as he can and I plan to go through our wardrobes tomorrow and clear out bits and bobs from our bedroom. Have appointment for us to get a flu jab tomorrow morning as I want this done before DH starts hospital treatment and we put house up for sale so we can find something smaller. on one level and easier and cheaper to run.
Found a three bird roast in freezer so we had that for lunch with lots of veg, roasties and yorkies and stuffing balls. DH had mash with veg and the falafels I made last night.
DH confused our DDs by saying he wants us to get married
We have legally married for 32 years but it was a civil ceremony and he "wants to do things properly" which is sweet and quite touching really. Tried to tell him it will not be a wedding as such but more likely a blessing or renewal of vows.
As long as he puts his health first then we can do anything he wants. Just hope he will be up to doing all he wants settled.
Hugs to all"This site is addictive!"

Evening all,
Been a little colder here today, still no rain thankfully so clothes have come in dry.
Csarina, nice to see you, but sorry to hear that you are not well at present......take care.
We had dinner very early today, ham, cabbage, carrots and some lovely British Queen potatoes, followed by pineapple, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed.....getting a bit hungry again now, not sure what I fancy, must have a think.
Enjoy the rest of Sunday, stay safe and well
