Morning all,
Csarina, sorry to hear about you being in a fibro flare, I can commiserate having fibro myself.
Hilly, how annoying about your portmeirion mug, I hope you can find a lovely replacement.
Hello to all!
Sorry for not being around for a while but time has ran away with me. It was my 50th birthday last week and so I have been away for a few days staying in a country house hotel which was lovely, very rested and well fed! Yesterday I had a lovely spa day with my sister and neice when I had my very first manicure! Tonight, I am having a family birthday meal with a chinese meal, looking forward to it.
Tomorrow is my first visit to an eye clinic, i hope I don't make a fool of myself with the eye drops as usually I end up opening my mouth as wide as my eyes, lol!
Today we need to do some house paperwork and also have some passport photos taken.
Take care all.

Good Morning everyone, it's misty here and cool enough to need a light coat and waterproof shoes when I walked the Lurcher this morning. We seem to have an overnight crop of fungi, there were lots of different ones on the grass verges all different colours so it feels decidedly autumnal out there today.
The lurcha wouldn't settle last night, he's sometimes like that when his Dadi is away so I was up with him prowling round the house until 2 am, feeling quite jaded now but I'm going to get the housework out of the way and have an easy day and maybe even an afternoon nap when I've done the afternoon walk. I'm having a mini roast for supper with a thick slice of streaky pork which I'm going to roast on top of some thickly sliced potatoes and onions, the fat from the pork makes lovely roasties as it melts out and gives me nice crispy pork crackling too, mmmmm lovely! then I've picked a big apple off the tree for a baked apple and custard. Cold weather food at last after much too much summer beans and salad.
Hope you all have a nice day and that anyone feeling poorly feels much better soon, Lyn xxx.0 -

Having a bit of a fibro flare up, made worse by the fact that we have had to move twice in 6 months.Morning all,
Csarina, sorry to hear about you being in a fibro flare, I can commiserate having fibro myself.
Same here as I also have fibromyalgia so can sympathise with your flares
Morning all
Have been lacking in energy for a few days now and just don't feel like I have the same motivation. I think being exhausted has a lot to do with it though
Anyway, it's a lovely sunny day so there's a wash on the line, one in the machine and a few more loads waiting as the beds have been stripped and changed.
I'm going to be making some more onion marmalade today as it is so nice the last lot didn't stay for longI will make double the quantity today
My 'We'll Eat Again' book arrived yesterday so I'm hoping to sit n the garden later and get five minutes peace to be able to look through it. Inspired by the Christmas thread I'm hoping to find a few recipes to add to our Christmas fare
The only other thing I will be doing is making more of Twink's Hobnobs under orders as everyone enjoyed them including OH
Glad you had a lovely birthday peony

Morning all,
Sun is peeping out now. Still a quite misty though. Will peg out the washing when the machine stops.
Woke up at 2ish to discover that DS2 wasn't in. Quite miffed because I'd asked him to text me if he was going to be later than about midnight coming in. I texted him and tried to phone him but no answer. I guessed he'd fallen asleep at someone's house. He did eventually come in about 3ish. This morning he confirmed he had fallen asleep. I think he knows now how I feel!!
Going to watch a Ladies football match this afternoon. Only going because it's free and DH thought it might be different...
jlhmd666 - The onion marmalade sounds delicious. Could you post the recipe please?
Happy Sunday all x0 -
Morning Morning
I have just been for a run, 4 miles.. my longest yet! I hope to run the Reading Half marathon and raise money for assistance dogs next year... just another 9 miles to add on!
We went to town yesterday and it turned into a bit of a pub crawl, and then we got chips from the chippy, naughty day, but I think i made up for it this morning.
I think we're making gumbo for dinner, and lunch is probably going to be broccoli soup, which i defrosted yesterday.
I'd like to try and bake a vegan cake today so will give that a go in a while...wish me luck!
Hope everyone is okay, and you all have lovely relaxing Sundays. x0 -

Good afternoon everyone
Late one from me as decluttering is ongoing and it's a lovely day so busy washing and drying bathroom stuff and bedding.
DH is out training all day so am making him a Thai yellow curry for when he gets home .... just in case, he hasn't already sweated enough, I will make it extra hot :rotfl:
Time to tidy up ebay packaging materials, they seem to be expanding and taking over this room!
Well wishes for all sick people and pets and hugs for those that need or just want them. Keep well and safe and have a super day.

TTFTM you sound to be in stronger spirits today.
You have had such a lot to cope with recently and I understand how much you worry about DH. I had the same with Himself, unfortunately that episode culminated in a massive heart attack. He was 63, he had 6 months off work and was determined to work until 65 and complete his 40 years with the company.
He learned a hard lesson, which I had been telling him for years, you are no more thought of no matter how many hours of overtime you put in.
You are going great guns with your "fund" so hopefully DH will, eventually, be able to work less hours.
I wish you both all the luck in the world

Hello all.
Sorry for not posting more often.
Csarina, sorry about your fibro flare up x
Ds2 started his SN school this week. Those of you who have me on fb will know how worried I was! He had a good 2 days. The real test will be the full 5 days next week. My older 2 went back on Friday. Weird day to go back on.
My bedding is in the TD. I prefer it dried in there. Generally my washing does go out on the line if the weather is good. Thinking of getting the lakeland heated airer for the winter as this house is dreadful for getting clothes dry without the TD. Has anyone got one? Are they any good?
I cleaned the glad in my living room through to conservatory door window. And the glass in the door between the kitchen and utility rooms didn't realise how dirty they were till I cleaned them.
Husband is out reffing at the moment. Having a NSD today so nine of the kids are dressed as we are not you anywhere,
I can feel a chill in the air today. Autumn is on it's way!
Toad in the hole for tea tonight. I will just have the hole with veg as don't like sausages!
Really got to get back on the OS wagon. Spend I has been horrendous over the school holidays. And ds1 has had a growth spurt so needed loads of new bits for school.
I feel quite drowsy. Don't know why so will go and get in with something to wake myself up.
Love, hugs and spoons

Mr LW has been to the monthly farmers market so we're stocked up with eggs, and have a whole shelf in the fridge full of cheese. The cheese we buy is all made from the milk from one herd of cattle, and is all vegetarian rennet, so it doesn't upset my tum. Good stuff!
Once he got back, Mr LW took the Hairy Hooligans outside for a game in the garden while I made a cheese, onion, tomato & Qu0rn quiche.
We still have some tasks to get done this afternoon, but I'm not sure how much I shall be able to cope with doing. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
