Bit of an overcast muggy day here today, but at least it is dry.
I have just made some briquettes for the stove and they have been put in the greenhouse to dry.
MIL is saving all of her newspapers for me, she has 2 a day plus 2 free papers So we should be ok for the heating.
Got a letter from BG saying that our £300 refund is being sent to our bank account so that will pay for the car insurance this year:j plus the DD has been put down as well.
I only use £8 of gas per month on average for the hot water, it used to be quite high in the winter months but it was a mild winter last year and we now have a multifuel stove which we will use in preference to the central heating this year, especially if we get power cuts, I think it will come into its own :DIt was a big initial outlay, but it has already started to pay for itself

Taking the outlaws to Whipsnade zoo tomorrow, they have lived here for nearly fifty years and have never ever been:eek: and it is on our doorstep so to speak.

Fish and chips tonight, I don't feel like cooking.
