Quidco Cashback Problems.

Had a quick look on quidco and found this:Quidco cashback is only a possibility, not a guarantee. We pass all of the money we receive for your account on to you (less the yearly admin fee). It is not our obligation to pay any outstanding amounts that, for whatever reason, we do not receive from the merchant.
quidco never gave me a satisfactory response to my enquiry about my missing £50 (Citibank).
It's annoying, but best to look on it as a bonus, never rely on it when making a purchase or taking a service.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
Doesn't that defeat the purpose? Many insurances, for instance, can only be assessed when combining the cashback with the cost! I generally weigh up the risks and for something like that cancel the insurance if it doesn't track; it's hopeless expecting a normal Quidco enquiry to get anywhere. A bit like claiming cashbacks from some mobile dealers, merchants simply bin them with a smile on their face. Quidco IS very good; but it's extremely one-sided and they COULD do something about that if they chose to. It's very sad that they don't, given their altruistic claims.0

I write this post with the assumption that you are replying to me.
I believe quidco should never be relied upon.
If you believe that many insurances can only be assessed when combining the cashback with the cost, then you will eventually come unstuck.
The bigger the gain, the bigger the risk you take. This applies to quidco as well, otherwise they would "Promise/Guarantee" cashback.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
Hi,
I want to get the Nokia N95 on 3 using Quidco but this mobile is not listed in quidco(I guess because it is a new model) so I can't know how much cashback I'll get if I get something.
Do you reckon guys I should wait till Quidco add info about the N95 cashback deal?
