YesIt would hopefully be listed along with the other 4 sub-boards; 'I Won I Won I Won', 'Game Over', 'Regular Competitions' and 'Comper's Chat Corner.0

YesI voted yes. I can never find the postal thread wherever it lives now so a sub board sounds great.£2019 in 2019 challenge:£50/2019
A-Z: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
Jan wins: £50 cheque0 -
NoThen in that case, could we not get rid of the sub board that says regular competitions & list all the sub boards which come under Regular competitions in their own sub board I.E:
Daily
Weekly
Magazines
Click To Wins
Rafflecopter
Postal
Spend Entries
Once Only
People would understand this better & pick & choose which they enter.
The term Regular competitions doesn't explain what's inside it
But then we'd have to scroll down forever every time we change a page. The amount of sub boards needs to be limited as they take up a lot of page room.
A solution would be a sub board for normal competitions too. That way the main competitions page would be a list of sub boards then once you've clicked into the board you want it would just list those competitions.
If we are re-organising though I once more call for a sub board for social media containing all facebook/twitter/pinterest etc in their own sub board.0 -
YesBecause it's not a regular competition.
The Regular Competitions board has the following description, viewable from the main board;
"For all regular competitions that happen more than once, that would otherwise get lost on the main competitions board amongst all the one-off comps"
This thread is simply about converting the postal, text & phone thread to a sub forum. You've already voted no despite not using the thread.0 -
NoSorry I was not aware I was only allowed to vote if I used the thread
Take my no vote out of the poll results please AndreaThis Post Has Been Sponsored ByChocolate0 -
This vote is to just discuss the merits of the postal thread having a sub board, We could argue the debate for all the other comps to be categorized but where would that stop?
I personally think it's good the way painkiller has stated the case makes sense.
Haven't voted as I wont vote in votes which name people as it causes friction.#JusticeForGrenfell0 -

A link to it is in the sticky at the top of the main comp section

If the board doesn't get the go ahead, which I hope it does, Could we not have the icons next to the post like the:
You may choose an icon for your message from the following list:
No icon
And have ones which would indicate rafflecopter(helicopter like on Loquax, pillarbox for postal, web symbol for web etc) and be able to categorize by clicking on the icons to bring all those up. Hope I make sense.#JusticeForGrenfell0 -

I looked everywhere but there - THANK YOU! I have bookmarked it now.
Still vote yes though£2019 in 2019 challenge:£50/2019

YesThanks to Andrea for setting up the poll and to Painkiller :T this would help the postals so much to get its own sub-forum, it is very fast paced and its a lot to go through to find the comps and to find active comps as most are only active for say 1-2 weeks.
I have tried to solve this issue in the past but didnt get anywhere so had to set up a seperate text forum but got to the point where no one was using it anymore as we all love the mse forum
Sections that would be good are:
discussion
who posts what
introduction to postals/texts
comp listings
I have got all the information on the first few posts on the postals thread but so much more could be put on the sub forum, recent wins which would give some inspiration to those just starting out or struggling
Question's that always come up are their postcards keep getting returned so we advise putting phone numbers under the address, writing at an angle and the other one is does the prima mag take all in one entries, this has been answered so many times but new members always ask this as currently there is no nowhere for these popular queries to go so a sub forum would be helpful for that
I voted yes and cant wait until it is set up0
