Payplan asking for bank statements and payslips

I really can't see why anyone should have an issue with this
You have to undertake reviews while on DMPs so If you are being asked for new income / expenditure information why can't you simply provide it
They are a good thing as they ensure that you're actually able to manage with what you're paying and not getting struggling etc
What if it was the other way around and your income had dropped?
I'm sure you'd all expect payplan (or Step Change or whoever) to review your payments and get these reduced - and I'm sure you'd happily provide any information asked to get this to happen!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Thanks rising from the ashes - I don't have a problem per se, I'm just worried that it will appear on paper that I have more disposable income than I have. The excess each month is being used to save for repairs to the house which desperately need undertaking, but I don't know if the creditors will accept this - that's what I'm worried about ... As far as I am aware, the outgoings/income details given to payplan are shared with the creditors
I desperately do want to pay off the rest of this debt - I have about another 6 years to go and have made really good progress, even putting in extra money when I've had some (not often, I realise). I just don't want my creditors to turn round now and not accept my circumstances
Am I just worrying over nothing?0 -
If your income has gone up but your outgoings have also gone up - and they are justifiable (eg the travelling costs etc) and this is all covered in your SOA I can't see that you should have a problem?Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Not sure where you are but I can assure you renting a room for a week in London alone would probably cost similar if not more plus added expense of cooking for an individual that he most likely would not do and eat takeaways and factor this in together for a lot more than £170- per week.0 -

As stated already if you decide not to send these which is probably within the paperwork you signed upon having Debt Plan manage your debts they could say okay no problems deal with these yourself.
This is really quite easy and for those that do not want to show any bank statements and payslips to a Debt plan Co or debtor they are well within there rights to do so, Bear in mind that in the extreme cases should a debtor disbelieve you they can take further action for a disclosure of earnings order.
The above would only happen in a extreme case where they believe you are lying and can afford a whole lot more against repaying outstanding debts.0 -

The creditor would first need to take the debtor to court, and obtain judgement against him/her first, before an order to obtain information could be issued by the court.

Again someone else that fails to read properly prior to posting, My post CLEARLY states in the extreme circumstances and whilst I may not have gone into full and frank details around the whole way this could happen it is obviously saying Extreme therefore meaning that certain things will happen first.
Next time I post just to keep you happy I will submit short novel explaining the full ins and outs of why/how or what reasons for my post.
