How about this for playing the long game

Ive just checked my Topcashback and the payment from laterooms for a weekend stay we did in August 2014 this year has gone to the paid column
    £11.22 :T
so in April 2015 when my new Topcashback year starts I can convert this into !!!!!! cc points
By August 2016 I might have scrapped enough !!!!!! cc points together for a good enough P & O deposit - it takes me at least six quarters to amass a thousand.
so then I will be booking something for late on - November or December 2017 :rotfl:
because you don't get any other perks when using cc points with p&o. It's not worth it unless you have enough points to almost pay it off.

Thanks couponqueen123, I know a couple of people who really struggled psychologically with the first few weeks/months and as I'm a little prone to depression, I'm grateful for any tips to prepare in advance to make it as hassle free as poss

Hoping to spend December cooking healthy ready meals for freezer and have earmarked a few box sets that come out around Christmas for the nightshifts

I've seen quite a few youngsters walking around recently in what I'd call pajamas, don't really understand it, but if it means not having to dress in the morning then bring it on :rotfl:

Take each day as it comes. If you've managed to get washed and dressed yourself and the little one is happy and well fed then give yourself a pat on the back. Dont be too hard on yourself. Children don't remember how tidy the house was when they were growing up, they remember the fun and the laughter, the cold winter days making tents inside using blankets, the painting, the games played. It doesn't matter if you haven't hovered or dusted for two days

I used to fill the washer on an evening switch it on before I went to bed and then when I got up to do the night feed, whilst warming the bottle I would hang it on the radiators, usually by morning most of it was dry.

    Oops time I wasn't here!! Ttfn Mt2m :)

Make sure when people come to visit, you put them to good use. If they're there for a newborn cuddle they have to earn it!
I had my mum washing up, sorting my washing and vacuuming when she came over :D

Yes that's what I aim for, to get as close to the full payment as possible which usually takes us at least 6 quarters.

we book a long way ahead so we can request first sitting and usually get some sort of upgraded cabin. We usually have a future cruise deposit in place so at least we get the onboard credit for that - we don't normally do the excursions and we don't buy much on board anyway

Using cc points we loose the 5% discount
