Thanks for the dose of restraint David :money:

Plenty of times to grab your coat and rush out but unless you want to be going all the time and being disappointed when you don't find the 4p left handed toe nail clippers, just go chase what is of use/needed otherwise you will be sick and have a house full of rubbish:rotfl:

good morning all hope the elite are wellxx

have a little dilemma this morning i found a letter, ds3 has won an award at school he is 14, ceremony tomorrow but he says he is not going. I want to go and see him get it, but he does not approve of the system that gives him an award for being top in maths with no hard work he says it comes naturally he looks at numbers and the answer is there, but other children struggle and work a lot harder than him, and one of his friends through hard work has moved up 3 sets, ds3 thinks his mate or others like him deserve the award more as they have worked a lot harder. I can see what he is saying and the choice is his, but I wanted the proud mum moment.:o:o:o:o:o

Wow there are not many children who would do this!!! You are definitely doing an amazing job at raising your kids :T

I have made the biggest savings on B&Q and homebase giftcards. You get a 6% saving on B&Q and 7.5% on homebase. To be honest I haven't counted the exact amount of savings. But with 6 years of non stop DIY, it's not to be sniffed at.
Asda GCs are 3.5%, Sains 4%, Morries 3.5%. Sadly they don't do Ts ones. They do just about every other high street store you can think of too.
You can also buy a discount card for instore purchases. It £4.99 and is valid for 5 years. Every little helps :D

Time I wasn't here, things to do. Have a good day all

I didn't realise OHs scheme was so generous - I thin k its only be going a few years but even so I wished id started using it sooner.

My new gift vouchers are Iceland ones - just realised its right next to Asda so its ideal if I just want the odd thing.

    Iceland - 7.75%
    Sainsburys, Morrisons, Asda - 5%
    Marks - 7%

Ive not got Homebase yet but its 9% Homebase and 10% BQ :T
New radiator on the shopping list so I need more of these

Also on the my account page it adds your savings up so you can keep a tally

Morning guys, just going to drink my cuppa then heading out to Sada as i have a George order to collect, not planning on doing any shopping but if there is anything anyone wants checking whilst i am there, give me a shout;)

Ive seen somewhere the George sale has started online - have you checked to see if your item is in the sale - if it is, re order it at the sale price.
Go instore collect the one you have ordered but then get a refund.

Asda - you could also get the free dog food and Volvic touch of fruit for Quidco clicksnap and/or COS - if its on both of yours.
