I think you've had your proud mum moment right there with what he said. What an absolutely brilliant thoughtful child you have, amazing and selfless...a thing I rarely hear about these days. I'm proud of him and you...and I don't even know you. I can't help with your dilemma perhaps just say the moment is for you because you'd like everyone else to see what a wonderful child you have, so that others can see what you already know..I don't know but thank you for sharing...it really has made my day.
Seconded, he is a son you can truly be proud of :D Awards can be lost and forgotten, but I bet that conversation is one that you will remember forever, it must have made you feel very proud :D

thank you both so much :A:A:A lump in throat just got bigger ..

Actually I lied, today won't be a NSD. I'm going to be spending 27p!

I've got a shop planned, £24.28 down to £1.62. I'll then claim £1.35 cashback. And, all going well, I'll also have a £9.98 pp to play with afterwards.

    :D

:T:T:T:T well done , hope all goes to plan

I've never heard of using vinegar in washing machines!! Or maybe I have but so much my mum said went in one ear n out the other :o

So how do you use vinegar in it then? Do a quick wash with no clothes and vinegar instead of persil? Bung it in with calgon?? Help please cos the idea of cleaning my washing machine sounds like a plan!:p a plan...not a pain. I shoulda gone to spec savers.... ;)

    Thanks in advance

Use instead of powder on an empty boil cycle :)

good morning all hope the elite are wellxx

have a little dilemma this morning i found a letter, ds3 has won an award at school he is 14, ceremony tomorrow but he says he is not going. I want to go and see him get it, but he does not approve of the system that gives him an award for being top in maths with no hard work he says it comes naturally he looks at numbers and the answer is there, but other children struggle and work a lot harder than him, and one of his friends through hard work has moved up 3 sets, ds3 thinks his mate or others like him deserve the award more as they have worked a lot harder. I can see what he is saying and the choice is his, but I wanted the proud mum moment.:o:o:o:o:o
what a thoughtful, smart young man you've raised :) how about he collects the award & says what he has told you as might make the teachers think about his friend & others who have tried so hard :) then you'd have a mega proud mum moment probably with lots of tears ;)
