We'd get hung, drawn and quartered if we did that

She needs to complain. There'll be a manager or PALS type service at the private hospital who she can approach. This is serious and if it's happened to your sister, it can have happened to anyone else

Places get into trouble with the Information Commissioner's Office and occasionally fined (or 'monetary penalty imposed on them', whatever the terminology is) for things like that. Here, it's a data breach affecting one person's details (one too many I know) although we don't know how much wider it may or may not be.

Eek. But I guess it benefits you. They have me doing till 11pm one night and back in a 8 next day. Gets on my nerves. I asked her for less shifts with going to college but two people left so we short handed . Comic timing - not x

Don't let your college work suffer for it, I thought shifts had to have 12 hours between them? Might be wrong but seem to remember they did when OH was doing them. I actually enjoy the work with my OH most of the time, the worst thing is if we go to a client's house you can guarantee I will be the one running up and down 3 flights of stairs, but I refuse to go in unboarded lofts, at least I can refuse that :D

Good grief. We've just had someone knock on the door with a letter. Was for my sister from a private hospital she went to last week. The address on the front was wrong as was her name and there was no return address. So the guy opened it and saw one mention of our address inside that was accurate, bought it over. This letter was full of intimate medical details and was sent to someone else. Her surname is wrong over both the bill and the letter and they called her Mrs. She's not married.

So now some stranger down the road knows what medical problems my sister has. Brilliant. She's away at her boyfriends' but I just called her and she's fuming.

Do people not proof-read anything anymore? Honestly. For something so sensitive too....

If I had done that in the FCO I would have been fired, possibly even prosecuted  She really does need to complain as previously said, if only to make sure it does not happen to someone else!

    !!!!!! v Sada TPP shop

Very few incentives for going into !!!!!! these days - no mailing MOCs, no till spits, no conditional spends ...

But my freezer has some alarming jokes and spaces developing  so it's better than nothing. ...

Well I wouldn't bother shopping with them at all then. Unless they were a T that took APGs. Otherwise, there's no need to shop there. As for incentives, I'm waiting for at least a £10 off a £20 spend before I shop there again:rotfl:.

    Good morning everyone.

FC, enjoy your holiday and the time away will give you both time to think, dont rush into anything.

Thanks SpirrallingDown for the new thread, cant believe we are on a new one already, I think I missed most of the last one, being away, as you lot are so chatty :rotfl::rotfl:

Good luck to all the new starters at school today, including my 11 year old who is starting High School, he looked very smart in his new uniform today.

That old thread did go by a bit quicker, due to the (sadly short) time that we had with those Morries glitches.

She is going to call up to complain tomorrow. I agree QOC, it could happen to someone else. And maybe even for something more serious. One small mistake you could forgive but this was littered with them and now means our neighbour knows way more than is appropriate about my sis :(

Also, the copy of the letter for the NHS Doctor had mistakes on it too so she's worried about the referral going awry. It's not just the privacy issue.

You could just buy in A's and not worry about getting TPP or APG :) I do that. Just get the T vs A ones seperated from my A vs whatever shop . Saves me driving to Ts especially lol. Only go to T's if got moc's etc. Mind you, you do get cc and petrol discounts by going to T's . All swings and roundabouts I guess.

Quite. Plus, getting in A straight (perhaps with wombles), you don't risk T possibly failing to pick up the A price and thus ending up paying them more. Or buying the wrong type of ice cream:rotfl::eek:.

I can't see any benefit at all for me - T is farther away to travel (for me) plus I dislike them anyway. An extra CC point (i.e. four pence, and even that only if quadrupled up successfully) and having to pay £150 to get enough for them to send any CC vouchers to quadruple up (or, I know what I mean, I could have bag re-use reduce it - in fact, it's so bad that perhaps just buy a piece of loose ginger at a penny and use a bag in one shop, and just do that shop each time, is probably the best way of collecting CC points:rotfl:. One penny piece of ginger + bag reuse gives you 1 point, as opposed to having to spend £1 for 1 point - it goes up a hundred times faster my hypothetical way*).:rotfl::rotfl: (I know - the womble way! Sadly T's petrol promo. encourages people to use their CC each time now, so wombles with no CC used impossible to find, given that I'm never at T anyway to look.)

    In short, why bother?:(

Last time, they didn't even bother sending me any CC coupons at all, just the 'main' voucher. In any event, I can't be bothered shopping with them.

*Well, fifty times, if you are using a bag and spending £1! Why spend as much as £1 though?:rotfl:

I can't get out either but I would be a little cautious as maybe updating.
I was told by a member of staff yesterday that there is going to be a big health and beauty event coming up.

I heard that over their instore radio service last time.

Surely these big events are to avoid though! They likely just mean lots of items losing us out on wombles:(:( as bound to be more expensive elsewhere. I don't like £1 r'backs!:rotfl::rotfl:

Seems best to be doing the Sada H& B Event shopping in S or even in T:rotfl::rotfl:(following what I said in my last post!). That's what I normally do though - if a store has an 'event' on, I shop at the competitor for the PP/BM/APG as applicable:rotfl:;).
