I can't beat 27 hour bus trip to Poland but we have done some exciting magical mystery tours.

One memorable trip started with the normal 4 hour train trip to Southampton, change at Stafford, overnight at West Quay Premier inn.
We then went on a cruise ship which was doing a repositioning trip so from Southampton we set off, one sea day, one day in Dublin. On day 3 we docked, taxi to the train station, train into Glasgow, walk across Glasgow to the other station on a very quiet Sunday morning. We then got the Edinburgh train.
In Edinburgh we waved eldest child off on her train to York.
We had a lovely day in Edinburgh and stayed the night at the travelodge in Princess Street.
Next morning we set off again, train to Newcastle where we changed trains.
Where were we off to - back all the way down to Southampton :rotfl:
So about 7 hours later we arrived - I think we stayed at PI again.
Next day we went on a ships visit, had lunch onboard and got very jolly on the free flowing wine :D
Afterwards we got the taxi back to the station for the finAl leg of the round Britain tour, 4 hour trip back up north via Birmingham. That was about 2.30 in the afternoon.

    Except it wasn't

We only got as far as Banbury outside oxford and the train made a dreadful noise. I said to OH that wasn't good - it wasn't. We had had a cattle strike.
Eventually our train was dragged back into Oxford at 10 at night - 7 hours on a sweltering train, no food or drink and no trains north or at least nothing going further than Birmingham.
So we ended up in the travelodge in Oxford that night and finally got home the next afternoon
The only saving grace was Youngest son was still living at home so we didn't have to worry about the cats :)

We were in the car :( I wanted to stopover in Germany on the way but OH point blank refused...when we crossed the border into PL we still had 7 hours to go :(

But OMG mhoc, 7 hours on a sweltering train :eek::eek:
    That must have been horrendous

Just done a catch up  taken me all evening :rotfl:

Amsterdam is great, ferry goes from Harwich too but I'd prefer coach as you see lots of super scenery on the journey.

The camp site in Dam I can vouch for, it's very popular and it's the one that ds4 stays at

24 hours or there a outs from Ipswich to Malgrat Spain, being a driver I enjoy the coach ride, nose pressed against the window taking in the views :j
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Does it think there is some sort of hidden (as not obvious on the shelf in M!:D) bogo'f' on the M Savers Sparkling Water there, and what other items might be able to be bought or put onto the same offer as the Water? (Surely, if they had different individual prices in the system, they would now return N/A if it was stored as a 2 for '1' or 4 for '2' etc.) I note the CBY Tropical Crush and Orangeade Sugar Free (probably totally separately) returning at half the individual price for M last week. 50p or 2 for 90p in M. APG on mix of one bought of each said 25p each.

I can't explain it! I'll let you lot on here do so! Shop was today at 16:13:42.

Interesting that the price of £8.32 for the Kellogg's Variety Pack appears in red for M, even though that still works out at £2.08 per pack. As far as I know these are £2.08 each and 2 for £3.00 in M. The price on the Bernard Matthews in M is 2 for £1.80.

:think:Wonder what would happen if someone bought a Kelloggs Variety pack (or maybe 3 Kelloggs Variety Packs) and a S/P Sparkling Water 2L?

I don't suppose could lose too much if it didn't work (as long as didn't put other items substantially cheaper in M on the same shop) as Variety Pack £1 each in A and, although not normally best comp., 17p vs 18p for the Water isn't bad.

The Kellogg's Variety comparison on this is another one of those random mbuys for M that seem to appear on comps. occasionally. Intriguing.

Am I coming into/missing a glitch session vs M - has anybody earlier today (whilst I've not be here) already posted about 'strange' results vs M?

Well, I shall be out tomorrow doing another price collection but, if this is Monday's collection and if there is anything to be found that you ought to be buying, better get your skates on!!:D

    All mbuys showing in bold.

Considering the Puff Pastry Steak Pies may be 3 for £1.50 in M, I'm wondering about that! Obviously the Dinosaur Turkey Roll isn't doing anything to the Kellogg's Variety packs there, so should be avoided.
