As predicted, no use! This receipt is from this lunchtime today (12:50). The particular Cathedral is still showing £4 (it is showing £5 for Sains.) - I thought all of the 350g ones were now £2.50 in Morries - but to be honest I wasn't paying a great deal of attention as they weren't something to compare to.

I also remembered, earlier today, that lots of the individual chocolates (individual Boost bar and the like) are on 2 for 60p in M. Not that any mbuys would get picked up vs M:mad:. Would have been 2 with a Wine Gums trigger if that still works and if still available. However, it looks like the items on the offer in M are at 60p in A and not on the 3 for £1 anymore, so doesn't look like a goer and I've therefore not added them to the M list.

There is another M price collection tomorrow, supposedly!:rotfl:
I wasn't originally planning on going to A tonight, but real busy day tomorrow, potentially, and not sure how I was going to fit everything in, so I've done the A shop tonight. Should have a bit more time tomorrow now.:)

PD and I have been talking about going away for a quick weekend break after she finishes this job and before I start my next one. Budget of around £150 each....I was thinking Amsterdam maybe.

Looked into something called IDbus which is a coach from London to Amsterdam. Should only be about 20-30 quid but it's 10 hours. Don't know if I could stand it! What say you elite? Where would you go for that budget last minute? :)

Amsterdam is great for a short break.

A lot of budget accomodation in Amsterdam is pretty scuzzy however there are a few gems.
I've heard good things about the Botel (very central boat hotel) and if you want to go budget style there is great camp site called Camping Zeeburg that also has chalets and little wagons you cant stay in. There is a lake & shop etc and it's just a short tram ride into town.

I get really sick on a coach so I would pay extra and fly. Have you checked out Easyjet prices? I've had good deals with them in the past? If you don't get car sick then go for it on the coach, I'm sure you will have a laugh! I did London to Brussels on a coach once and it wasn't that bad?

Have fun wherever you go! :j

Fourp & his brother were joking about their Mum, who they both suspect her of the 'crime' of going through their belongings secretively

Fourp's brother has put a lot of his stuff this weekend in her loft as he is in between homes, he sent the following text -

'I could hear the creak of loft ladder being pulled out as soon as I shut the front door'

to his Mum by accident :o:o:o:o

    Oh dear. Cringe. :o:rotfl:

I wish I could have afforded to help my mum get something bigger at the time......

Doesn't feel right to be having all this work done seeing as where the money came from without finalising this. :)

I am more than sure that your mum trusted in you to not not let either of their memories down :A
I bet anything she'd be delighted at how happy hers and your Dads legacy is making you now :) you're making your whole family happy from it and we both know that's what they worked hard for ;)

Did you go to Auschwitz while you were there?

Even though I've been, it still doesn't seem real in some ways. That place is just so hard to describe in any kind of words.
It was hard for OH as both his grandparents died there :(

Yes, and the salt mines which were amazing!
