thanks, was suprised how popular they were not made them for ages and had to do a second batch dd1 partner had never had them and he ate 5:eek::eek:
these were done with a cheapy bread mix,:o as its the quickest way to do them, (also a 80p mix will do 3 x 14" pizzas) rolled thinly, left to rise then add toppings and cook, I always make in large trays or individual ones in cake tins, but remember to oil them i forgot once and they were welded to the tray:rotfl: I do freeze the bases but cook first, then just need to add toppings which are usually leftovers, have frozen the complete pizza as well . and yes pesto works have done that, especially with my veggie one
thanksbut i am a simple cook really dont do anything complicated, luckily everyone here likes simple food.;) there are things i cant do. pastry, and yorkshire puddings have to be shop brought as they always go wrong:o:o presentation is not one of my strong points either, :rotfl:
I wish I could cook even simple stuff, I am one of life's heater uppers, there was a list going somewhere.:rotfl:

When I got back I told him that the woman was very disappointed as she was expecting a hunky young lad and she was dressed for the occasion:rotfl::rotfl:......his face

sarah and sd i hope you both get your lads school problems sorted, sarah it can be really hard if a child is struggling and the teacher does not understand or help there particular needs,, and to give work that they dont understand must make them feel so bad in themselves. that was not fair..
sd hopefully if your son works hard is there a chance he can go back up a set. I know waht its like as my ds3 is in top sets for everthing and was really upset when he thought he was going down a set, he feels that as he has always been there he will be letting himself down if he drops a set, He worries me as the teacher say he is gifted and he is doing at least one exam a year early, I worry it puts to much pressure on him,0 -

Harley is such a cutie
Thankyou, we think so.SpiralingDown wrote: »I hope you get this sorted for you DSes sake, I'm going through the same with DS only his problem is English.
Year 8 teacher was great and used things to actively encourage him.
year 9 was new to teaching and quite strict but didn't look at the support kids needed just the grade they achieved and expected him to keep up. She made him feel stupid because he couldn't do the workhis grade slipped from a B in year 8 to an E in year 9.
We will find out what the English teacher is like tomorrow, I'm really hoping she's nice and supports those that need it.
DS is very annoyed as they've split the top two classes into 2 groups for English and maths, no notice of this eventhough they know he needs time to get used to changes  I have been listening to how unfair it is that they've done this to him and how he's now 'in with the dumb dumbs!' (His words not mine).
He's always been in the top class and feels that others should have been put into group 2 instead of him. I've given up with trying to explain to him that it might just be because of his English score but I'm totally wrong, according to him the teacher just has it in for him and wants to make a fool out of him.
It feels like we're going backwards again and I don't want him to have to go through that again.
Your poor son, hope it works out ok for him.
The school phoned, and I explained that DS was having extra help with his maths and that the homework was not suited to his level and he was really struggling. The teacher was not aware of the problems  asked what level he got in his sats, and said they had still not received the paperwork.
I telephoned his old school, and they said they have sent it so, its looks like it has got lost somewhere in the system. I have had various phonecalls this afternoon, after I flagged this up, as they were not aware of his difficulties in maths, so they are having all the paperwork sent to them today, and are going to ring me later in the week, early next week and discuss his needs. So hopefully it will be sorted.
I am glad I phoned today otherwise he could have been struggling and the teachers had no idea.0 -
