Congrats good advice.
I have to agree with the others Islandmaid, lovely pic.
Cycled to work today even though it was drizzling, am going to make an effort to be less of a fair weather cyclist this autumn/winter.
OS today, DD did load of washing (inc things she bought at a flea market this weekend, she getting very good a finding a bargain) and put on the airer. DS loaded dishwasher. I didnt need packed lunch as had lunch meeting at work today and nice nibbles were provided. Dinner tonight was curry made from last nights leftover roast and HM Naan bread. then left over apple and blackberry pie made with apples from neighbour and blackberries from local hedgerow. I have bought some of the vacuum bags from pound shop, we always seem to have mould problem in built in wardrobe (suspect some of it has to do with other neighbour leaky gutter) so thought might be good idea to store summer clothes in them, and they will take up less space. Seen bags in other stores for lot more money, however they look identical so will give cheaper ones a go.

I was going to have spicy mushrooms as part of my meal tonight but thought I would have a look and see if there were any other ideas as I always have spicy mushrooms when I cook them. Anyway, I came across this post in a thread:
" rel="nofollow">http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=330323&postcount=11[/u funnily enough lol!
and what caught my eye was the mention of potato bread. I've not heard of this before. Has anyone had it and can let me know what it tastes like? I've found a recipe which looks easy enough but wondered if it was something people liked

Potato bread is an Irish bread made with potatoes. It it normally fried and eaten with bacon sausages and so on. It can be bought in England but isn't readily available and it's not as nice as local potato bread made by local bakeries.0 -

Where did you go for days out? Fill your time?
Sending good wishes
Gosh what didn't we do, DD went fishing in a boat out in the Solent with her sons and caught dinner twice, beautiful sea bass and my son-in-law pan-fried it in butter (naughty but nice) and strips of chilli's on top.We went to Osbourne House as I have an English Heritage ticket with DD and the boys on it so we only had to pay for son-in-law.The beach where Queen Victoria used is now open and the boys and I sat and watched an old fashioned Punch and Judy show :)we had a ride on the Haven steam train Kids ride for free Which was just as well as the adults have to pay £12.00 but its an all day ticket so you can ride all day if you want, we went to Wooton and got off for a wander then back to Haven Street. There was a good play park there for the boys to climb about on and a nice picnic area for us to eat and drink our flasks. We also went to carisbrooke Castle (again courtesy of English Heritage and the chap only charged us £4.00 for son-in-law.This was a great day out as there was a medievil jousting day there so we watched and cheered for our 'Knight'Great castle with lots to do and see.
We also went crabbing quite a bit at Colwell Bay and the boys swam in the sea. There is also a local baths which we went to in Freshwater. We tried to do something different everyday and although we go to the island every year we do so enjoy it there and have never been bored. When my late OH was alive we would go there with our children to their Granny who lived in Northwood so both my DDs grew up knowing the Island very well. we never tire of going there and the boys love it
I never tire of the place and the scenery is just gorgeous plus of course Minghella's ice cream is to die for:):)
Only another 12 months and we will be back there again:D
We today the boys got their haircuts sorted and the school blazer was bought. This afternoon we managed to get to the country park after a short shower at lunchtime and picked enough blackberries for me to freeze and also use some this week on my cereal and with some yoghurt for puds
Tomorrow is Mikey's last day before he goes back to school on Wednesday and I said I'd help him make an Aztec mask for his school holiday project, so I'll dig out my La Plume craft pens to do some colouring in with in the morning.I'm now toddling off to bed for a read Good Night, God Bless all here
