Probably something which was inbetween, but now removed.

  • Going to ring the broker and ask to submit our application to Halifax today.

    Feeling nervous!
  • Well not good news :-( Halifax won't accept my OH's allowances as part of his salary even though he would have to leave his current role to lose them and has provided 12 months worth of payslips and the confirmation of the allowance rate until 2017 (government employer too). The employer apparently circled the "regular" box against the allowance which is not good enough for Halifax as they say it's not guaranteed.
So I fear we have to pull out now :-(

Full application has gone in and Halifax have come back and asked for various things from my partner, his September and October payslip, his latest P60.

They haven't asked me for these items, maybe because I bank with them and he doesn't

I have sent all the extra documents that Halifax asked for, the broker is going to upload them all today.

Hope to hear back in the next few days (hoping to hear that they want to come out and value the house and not a 'Halifax says No')
  • Here is my story...

    04/12/2015 - AIP with Halifax
    14/12/2015 - Full application submitted
    14/12/2015 - Valuation fee taken

    nervous time beings....
  • Similar for me:

    01/12/2015 - AIP with Halifax
04/12/2015 - Full application submitted and valuation instructed
    14/12/2015 - Valuation carried out

... and now waiting and stressing out!

Survey and valuation are happening on Monday.

Hopefully this is a good sign, why would they bother sending a surveyor out if they were going to say no
