I'm going to learn to say NO! I never really say no to people, but I'm constantly taking on more than I can manage by not saying it! Not any more! So my new skill will be saying no without caring of the thoughts. Because, after saying yes (mainly work here) no one cares of the consequences to me.
Mothernerd, loving the multi tasking clothes :T I do this all the timeI have a flashy fitted maxi dress number, full of sequences across the top
In the winter, it's a long skirt with a blouse over the top, finished off with a blazer

Forgot to say I'm happy to do a month too. mothernerd, so much of what you've written for us - ecotherapy, quiet meditation, moving, clothes, skill-learning - is what I was thinking about anyway!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Hi Mothernerd
I sort of lost the plot in September and haven't posted for a while but I have read every post and will update over the weekend. Please can you add me to the October challange. I promise to try to post more regularly even if it is only to say nothing to report.
I really need to sort out lots of bits and pieces in preparation for redundancy mid October. This will be the start of our new life :j
Lots of work before we get to where we want to be but it WILL be worth it in the end.

Mothernerd this is amazing - you have done me proud as I am sure you all will! What a wonderful little team you all are!!! It's a little sad, I feel I am no longer a part of this - perhaps sat looking in - but I know you will all pull each other through to the very debt-BUSTED end! And I can't wait to see the journey unfold!
Big hugs from the now lurking NSK!!!

Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0 -

Can I join in this month? I have done NSK's challenges a couple of times in the last year but this month I really need to control our spending as I have no income coming in, DH wage is lower than usual and I do not want to dip into what is left of our savings.
This month I am going to learn how to make tasty vegetarian meals that DH loves and doesn't miss the meat both for our health and our budget. I am aiming for 3 keepers.
You would think as someone who was veggie for 25 years I would have a list of recipes as long as my arm but no, I relied too much on quorn:oSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750
