Well done Milliesmama!!!! :j Fingers crossed for tomorrow
Unfortunately My MP has already been brought into this (He got me a letter *tuts*) and is now ignoring me. As is the PM but then again he got bigger fish to fry :rolleyes:0 -
oh no! can you see another mp? (luckily for me my mp is the first minister (scotland) and he is fab
) my mp called an mp hotline and sorted it that way. can you ask your mp or mp office to do that? 0 -
oops i see you ARE in scotland.....acall alex salmonds office
they were so helpful with me. 0 -
Well I may try Salmond...but I'm at the point where I dont think anything will work. I don't suppose one more brick wall to bang my head against would do any harm

Ruddyhell!! I can't believe the mess some of you are in, it's unbelievable!
I sincerely hope you can get it sorted ~ I know if I were in your shoes, after a couple of weeks I would be MAD, after a couple of months, I would be raging...but after a couple of years or more, I think I would have been locked up for life by now.
My hat goes off to you all with this problem ~ good luck!

Thanks Shellsuit..... I'm going to try Milliesmama suggestion and if that fails then I will host my sons 5th birthday party down at my local HMRC Office:D0

Why dont you go and see your MP and ask them to call the MP Hotline (a special line just for them) and ask for your manual payments to be recalculated? You will need to provide all your income details etc, but they should be able to tell you how much you should be getting on the same day your mp rings, and if your payments are too low they can higher them and pay arrears within about 7-10 working days. Contacting the papaers won't get the computer system fixed - its been broke since tax credits started in 2003 & no one seems able to fix it. Believe me, its just as frustrating for the staff who have to work with a system that doesnt work, especially seeing as most of the staff are actually claiming tax credits themselves.0

Either I'm imagining what i have been typing or people need to read Everything....no offence to anyone.
I have said numerous times that i have contacted my MP and all he succeeded in doing was to get the TCO to send me a letter saying they were having "technical difficulties". I first contacted my MP in March and by the beginning of April he sent me a copy of the letter from the TCO and a note saying "I wish you luck"
Milliesmama - I tried contacting Salmond this morning and got nowhere so have sent an email outlining my trouble and to request his help to rectify it. Just need to play the waiting game for a bit now. *sighs* Just read your comments on a different thread and yay for you getting your money :j0 -
I can't help I'm afraid, but I just wanted to say that I find it astounding that the Government keep awarding the IT contracts to EDS when they have failed at every hurdle in every system they have put in place - I would have thought that they would have learnt by now that they are utter shi* and need to be scrapped and replaced by another provider who won't get paid until they deliver what is required and actually WORKS!!!! The incompetence of this Government is just unbelievable, they can't even award contracts to companies right!0

:rotfl: well you would think they would have learned by now. At least they can be relied on to keep your personal information safe....Oh...no, wait they cant ah well:rotfl:0
