I thought that once they had taken the money from your account that was them effectively accepting that they would send you the specified item for that price. I might pop on the CAB site and see what I can dig up. The money went out from my bank yesterday, but I only got an email from them today. I'm sure that they will get more in stock at some point as the box set is not deleted, in which case they should honour the order. I'll go and have a look now!

they don't refund as they dropshift their items. I got Revenge of the Sith CD and it was delivered from Hong Kong.

I also sent them an email told them to stuff Shrek 2 because it's not what I ordered. If they don't sort me out with a full refund. I'll just tell my credit card company that it's an 'unknown' transaction.

I emailed them to say that since they had taken money out of my account, they had agreed to provide me with that item at that price. I gave them 2 options - to supply it when it came back in stock, or to send me the box set with the Swedish writing on the front that they DO have in stock but at a higher price. I know its pushing it but worth a try. They took the money yesterday and only informed me of the swap today. I'm pretty sure thats not allowed. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Ok so here's what you do people

If you don't want the Shrek 2 DVD call them on 01494 683500 as Injk said and tell them that you want an envelope to return it. They will refuind it with no hesitation at all. They are VERY good about anything they sell you.

If however you want it, they will send you a £2 credit and you will have shrek 2 for a pittence.

If you want to go one further, complain that the difference in the box set and the single DVD was only 2 quid, and therefore you are only happy to pay 2 quid for one of the discs. You may need to remind them of a few other points like how good a customer you are, how much you like buying CD's from them, and how much you like talking to UK based call centre staff. You may be pleasantly surprised to find that they will offer you another £2 e-voucher AND refund the charge on your credit card.
