Morning everyone,
Tru My DD2 did the ice bucket challenge yesterday, I have told her that if she even thinks of nominating me there will be serious consequences!
Lily Glad that it went well.
TTFTM Glad that you are healing well but don't overdo it at work.
Rosy Happy birthday.
jlhmd Enjoy your blackberry picking.
LW Someone tried to steal my friend's dog in the park yesterday. My friend is 80 and her dog is a beautiful working cocker spaniel. She stood her ground and thankfully other people appeared but she is a bit shaken up.
I can't believe how Autumnal it is this morning, there is mist everywhere and the leaves are starting to drop. Nearly time for back to school unfortunately.
I am off out for lunch today with a friend who has just had her lens replaced in her eye. She is not allowed to drive so a couple of us are going to fetch her and take her somewhere nice to eat.
Have a lovely day everyone.:)0 -
Good morning everyone
I'm struggling a bit today, feeling very wibbly wobbly so I'll keep this short. I'm glad everything went well yesterday Lilyplonk, you were in my thoughts. Good luck to juliapenguins hubby too, I hope he gets what he needs from work.
I haven't been nominated for the ice bucket challenge but a couple of people nominated me to do the positivity challenge, I declined
I shall be cooking bolognaise sauce today as I didn't get round to making it yesterday. I had a few visitors and it was all a bit much. I have to take DD13 on the bus to the next town for the orthodontist. I'm dreading it to be honest as I don't want to leave my house. She's broken her retainers though so she definitely needs to go.
My grandchildren leave today for a week in Spain with their dad and his new wife. I shall really miss them but hopefully they will have a fantastic time. GDD6 has 2 very wobbly teeth and she is very worried that she will lose them on holiday. I've had a little pull of them to see if they would come out but they are not quite ready. I told her the tooth fairy will be in Spain too so not to worry.
Well that's it from me, hope you all have a lovely day whatever you are up to. Take care xx0 -
Good Morning everyone, it's decidedly cooler here this morning and we have a heavy dew on the grass so it feels very autumnal.
Washing is in the machine and I'm about to do the housework and make a victoria sponge as DD1 is coming home for a few days to have an early birthday celebration with us as she starts back to school on her actual birthday. We're , at her request, having a chinese takeaway this evening and going to the pub quiz tomorrow and might go into the city for the day tomorrow to find her some nice little presents as she's already had her new small freezer back in the summer when the old one broke.
LILYPLONK glad your day yesterday went smoothly and hope you all enjoyed each others family company at a sad time, nice to have family support on days like that isn't it?
Hope all the poorlies are feeling better today and that problems are on the way to being solved, have a good day all, Lyn xxx.0 -

lilyplonk glad yesterday went smoothly
rosyred happy birthday!!
Thanks for the replys on dw tablets. I'll give the value ones a go. Must find out if our water is hard or soft.
Grey day here, but dry. It stayed dry all night so I left the washing out. It should nearly be dry by now.
My mum is off getting laser eye surgery today, so I'm taking her dog for the night. This house will be hectic with 3 big dogs. I think I'll let my springer in as she's the oldest and wisest, plus she'll not take too kindly to all the playing, even though mum's dog is her son!
Lots of driving today, 20 mile round trip to mums and another 20 mile round trip to get dd1.
Last night I emailed a local animal rescue centre to enquire about doing some volunteer work. Next week the kids will be back at school and tbh I'll be bored. Waiting to hear back.
Tonights dinner will be turkey sausages and something.LBM 04/10:j

I did the ice bucket challenge last night, my friends on FB will have seen it. We've donated to Motor Neurone Disease as we had a close friend pass away last year.
Stayed the same at SW this week. I'm all over the place with Aunty Flo at the mo, don't think that's helping.
Great British Bake Off looks interesting tonight, apparently someone walks out.
We only have 11 weeks until we go to Australia. I'm trying to be very organised and leave the Xmas presents all ready. My current project is Beetroot and spice orange chutney as gifts as we have a glut of Beetroot from the garden.
Our youngest is making a SW curry tonight so look forward to that.
Have a lovely day all xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Morning all
Lovely sunny weather down here, at last, although it's only been two days being dark and dismal, they were a very long two days.
Third session of yoga today, think I might have a swim after if pool not busy.
Hairy bikers gorgeous fish stew, yes that's what it's called, for dinner. Makes enough for two dinners, so good to be able have night off from cooking isn't it? Bendy veg soup on the go.
Another one here eating down freezer and preparing for a trip Down Under, it was 20 degrees yesterday where we are going, heaven for a cold mortal like me.
Hugs where needed, glad everything went well Lilyplonk.Carolbee0 -
rosy red - have a great day!
