I've just ordered the upright too Sleepy Hollow. Bit worried that it's not going to be powerful enough, but worried that the cylinder may be too hard to push

Mine was delivered about an hour ago, so very quick. It's quite hard to push but that may be because I am used to a cylinder. But it picks up amazingly well, I had a cylinder half full of cat hair just from the hallway and that gets done nearly every day. I think it will be easier when I get used to using it because it's obviously a different technique. So far, so good.

I noticed it says 2 years guarantee on the accompanying leaflet so I've printed out the page on their site where it says 5 years guarantee. Hopefully I won't need to use it!

Just had a test run with my c3 on the hall carpet and am soooo pleased with it. Have a very hairy lurcher and despite using a vax turbo I could brush off more fur

Used the main head first And then went over with the turbo head.

Thanks to op for finding this bargain, was on the verge of getting a Henry but this is much better :j

That's my worry too. Still hasn't arrived, hopefully it will be here tomorrow and then I will find out.

Still it's twice as powerful as we'll be able to get in a few years.
  • The ones in Home Bargains for £40 look identical to the ones on the Bissell website. What's the difference?
  • JUst bought pet one many thanks for link

Just tried my pet C3 (which arrived the next day after I ordered) and I am really impressed with the suction power. I have four dogs and lots of dog hair to hoover! The dusting attachment has come in very useful as we are replacing the plaster in the living room and there is dust everywhere. It is well worth the money, a real bargain.
  • I too have found the suction to be very impressive, I have also found that although it can be a little difficult to get it across the carpet (this may be because I have RA) but if you hoover the carpet from a different direction it can make it a bit easier. For example, I normally hoover from the dining room, through the living room and then in the hallway but I found going from hallway through to the living room and then the dining room helps (probably to do with the way the carpet pile sits).

My 17 yr old DD (who generally wouldn't notice if the world fell down around her) came in from a friends this morning after a sleep over and said 'wow, this looks really clean' :D
