Yes, My birthday is on 22nd of December and it feels great when I think that the date is just 2 days before the birthday of Jejus. I like Christmas a lot and celebrate it with my birthday only.0

Mine isn't quite Christmas (early Jan) so my issue is that a lot of people are on a diet, skint or miserable by then! It's like the post-Christmas come down, haha.
I don't mind it now I'm an adult but as a kid I got a lot of joint presents which at the time didn't feel very special
Agree with another poster who said you basically have to wait all year for anything you'd like!0 -
Hubbys is the 23rd Dec, I always make an effort and we will always have a gathering with our friends which will be Christmassy, as in we wear silly jumpers and exchange gifts, but we will always have birthday cake and focus on that more! He will never get a combo present from me and this is something that still haunts him from his childhood!
My complaint is having to think of 2 lots of awesome presents!haha.MFW2020 #115 250/3000 J-250

My Birthday is Christmas Eve and I love it. Sometimes when I was little I could get a "bigger" present to have as birthday AND Christmas but being young it never bothered me .it's only with hindsight that I realise that was a tad unfair!
I'm the youngest of five and the only birthday my dad could remember unprompted.
At least I have it as "just my day" whereas my S.I.L is Christmas Day.How can she compete for attention with a excitable 4 year old on Christmas Day?Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0 -
My birthday is the week before Christmas, and generally, I don't mind it. It makes the festive season even more exciting, and growing up, my parents always made an effort to separate birthday and Christmas celebrations. (and family and friends still do.)0
