I have used Egg Money Manager for years and really like it. I have all my credit cards on it, mortgage and bank accounts plus Paypal. So nice only to have to log in once to see everything.
Brilliant service :T until now.... Barclays have sent me a PINsentry thingy, can you see any way round it?0 -
Hello - been using EMM for a few years now and following the promotion, I addedd an extra card before 31st July. I'm sure it did apply to existing customers at the time but of course, didn't keep a screen shot.
Enquired when I would get my tenner and got a message back saying it was for brand new customers only (Where have I heard that before!) i.e. new EMM users. - thus:-
Thanks for your message. I can see you initially registered for Egg Money Manager in January 2004. To be honest, I'm unsure whether you're eligible for any recent incentive. Current and previous offers were introduced to encourage new users. You'd only be eligible if the organisations you added were the very first one's you'd added in order to activate Money Manager. If you've been using the service before the incentives became available then I'm sorry to confirm you won't receive an incentive payment. You're still getting the advantage of using a free service which I hope is of great benefit to you. Please let me know if I can be of any further help. Got this from the bottom of the email they sent me:
*The £10 Egg Money Manager reward
£10 Egg Money Manager reward is available to Egg Card customers who have activated their Egg Card, Egg Money customers who have activated their Egg Money card and Egg Savings customers (excluding Egg Cash ISA customers unless they also have an Egg Savings Account, Egg Card or Egg Money card). In each case, to qualify for the £10, you must register and add at least one non–Egg account to Egg Money Manager between 1 July 2007 and 31 July 2007. The £10 reward is also available to Egg Card customers, Egg Money customers and Egg Savings customers who have already registered for Egg Money Manager and activate it by adding their first non–Egg account between 1 July 2007 and 31 July 2007. Your £10 will be credited by 31 August 2007. Your £10 will be paid to your Egg Card, if you have one. If you do not have an Egg Card but have an Egg Money account, your £10 will be credited to this. Or, if you have neither, but have an Egg Saving Account, we will credit your £10 to this account. If you have multiple Egg Savings Accounts, the £10 will be credited to a specific account of our choosing. If you have already registered and added a non–Egg account to your Egg Money Manager you are not eligible for this offer.0 -
This was the reply I received from Egg regarding my enquiry - hope this helps.
'I can see that you signed up for Egg Money Manager on 25th July 2007.
If you added your first external bank account to Money Manager at this time, you'll receive your £10.00 incentive by 31st August 2007.'
To date I havent received my £10 - but I am very tenacious, so watch this space!0 -
"..........and activate it by adding their first non–Egg account between 1 July 2007 and 31 July 2007..............
Looks like that's where I misunderstood - the additional card was NOT the first one I'd added - oh well - it's still a good idea.
Thanks

Hi
Thanks for this - I got my free £10 and am now transfering it to my current account. I am going to treat myself to a beauty treatment with this and my earnings from a survey site. (I will be going to the local college of education where the students do treatments at less than half price of salon. Not always as quick as a salon but if you have the time and not the money a great treat!)0 -
I got my £10 incentive on 21th August, thank you for this info, easy peasy money!
CaterinaFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
As an update folks - I nagged Egg constantly regarding my £10 bonus and evenutually it was paid into my account a few days ago. On a different vein - the Egg Money Manager is superb for keeping an eye on all of your accounts (even those in other banks).0
