  • I'm amazed how quick your bulbs have come up! Very exciting :)

Good news on sendng the extra from the gas over too.

I'm hoping to get out more with the dog now the evenings are getting lighter (DH has been walking him during the day when it's light, he has still been getting his exercise!).

Interest of £9.22 sent over to the mortgage today, may be no more TT for a little while now as all direct debits etc have gone out!

Hubby often takes ours out in the mornings and we go in the field as well so can easily avoid going on proper walkies, so I get that EatingtheElephant, as long as they are exercised it is all good! The bulbs were already starting to grow in the packets!haha.

Managed a 4.09mile walk today, next week is all normal days so that will mess up my little routine especially as hubby is away as well. Will possibly get up super early to walk big and little dog so she isnt just in the field all the time! But she is just such hard work at times!

Off on a walk with my two friends tomorrow so will be interested to see how far I go!

Wed was 3.7miles, Thurs was 3miles and today have done 2.41miles, may go for another walkies later as well as feel like should be doing at least 3miles a day...legs are so so tired and get fatigued so quickly on any incline at the moment!

Sent another TT off of 9.91, not sure how that was in the account but happy to send it! Off to buy compost, masking tape and filler this evening so will be able to do another TT once that has gone out!

This afternoon did just over 3miles, taking me to over 5miles walked today! No wonder my feet are getting all sore again!

After much umming ahhing and discussions decided next year we would like to go abroad for a holiday, so I have requested a lovely little place in Greece with its own pool and what seems like a secluded location close to amenities. We haven't done a proper self catering holiday before apart from Vegas but that is very different! The house is £400 for a week, by my calculations the flights should be at most £200 pp taking us to £800ish and then we will hire a car to mooch around as well. Aim is not more than £1000 for the two of us, hopefully around £800 not including spends. Wish we were going this year but at the same time this gives us time to find a better place for the doggies, if they are happy I will relax more!

Off to open the MandS account tomorrow as there is a store nearby! Exciting!

    Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

MoneyforDreams, its the money saving aspect which makes holidays guilt free!haha.

EtE you are right it is good to have something to look forward to! Very tired legs and feet!

Went to the zoo today with my dad and nephews which was good fun. Yesterday planted more bulbs and some seeds, lovely weather today which is very helpful for the plants! Hubby has planted a lot more hedges today, he is so good!

Did the ID for MS yesterday and bought an awesome metal mirror which will paint with metal clear paint then put it in to the garden! Will look awesome! TT another £10.01 today.

Sleeping in the lounge for the week as painting isnt finished and wont be done until some time next weekend which is disappointing but hopefully will be worth it!

Hang on in there with the wait for the painting to be done- will totally be worth it. You've been covering great distances in your walks, well done you!

Thanks Kittenkirst, I do get very inpatient with things like that! Fourth night in the lounge and the dogs are being annoying throughout the night! Hubby is away for his first of four nights as well so they are extra vigilant for any noises to bark at! But next weekend it should all be done and that's another two rooms decorated and finished!

Did 1.8miles this am and another 3miles this evening, nearly five miles covered which I am pleased about! Not sure what I will manage tomorrow, feet are tired and will probably take both dogs in the field in the am and little dog for a walk in the evening before another play in the field. Hydrotherapy has been cancelled twice now so just waiting to hear when we might be able to go next.

Have spoke to the owner of the villa and he said that he can offer it for £500 for the week, he said the £400 is this years off peak prices and June is not off peak. Still seems reasonable and I would have paid that anyway, shame the website isn't more specific! Ah well, I then have £500 left for flights and car hire!

No TT since, will have a look next time we have some funds going out of the house account!

And because I seem to have issues not spending money...I have bought two tickets to the Garden Show in the NEC, exciting! Got 20% off, £37.50 for two tickets, therefore TT another £2.50 to the mortgage!

PS this is house account money so not a personal spend, claiming that NSD!!
