Hi Jodles, I've not got my head around revalidation either... I think i'm ok for a couple of years hence my apathy.
Good luck with yours, If you have any tips pass them on pleaseMortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 20220 -
Sounds like a lovely day planned. I've been wearing river boots for the past couple years walking the dog as I found I needed the extra support with the amount of mileage he needs (or maybe I'm just getting old lol).
Good luck with the revalidation - is there much work involved for it?0 -
PaulC5 you are too kind!! Thank you so much for reading my ramblings! I will go searching for you in a mo! How exciting to build your own home! That's so awesome and ultimately I imagine very MSE!
F0xh0les, another massive thanks for reading through, so lovely to *see* new people! And amazing advice, I will see if I can track this spray down, will be so much cheaper than the paint stuff. So pleased it worked for your chimney, I can imagine your frustration!
Moneyfordreams, I think I wont need to as last year was my 6th year and I filled in the extra gubbins, therefore I may have some leeway. Been on the RCN site, worth a look for the templates and advice, you dont need to be a member either. Also on there is a tax reclaimy thing about uniform, RCN membership and our nursing fee! Knew about the uniform but the not the other two, will be looking into this!
EatingtheElephant, your right about the support needed for the feet, think I need proper walking boots or trainers! Have got massive holes in the walking boots and they are used for ball kicking not walking these days! I think/hope the revalidation looks more complex than it is!haha.
Went for a pootle with the bestie yesterday to see some seals! They were just chilling on the beach, bellies up in the winter sun, there was at least one pup playing in the water! Was so excited to see them here in Wales, I have never realised that they come here every year to have babies!! It was 1.47miles at a slow pace, but we were seal watching, so there! My other bestie came round last night for a catch up, we will be doing the 11mile midnight walk together and she suggested when its lighter going out after work for some walkies, I agreed! Did the D-loop today, its 3.71miles, I reckon another mile could easily be added in the future...way in the future!!
Pay day tomorrow!!

Hello Jodles, I'm tired just reading your updates today!
I love how helpful people are on here! That's a great tip on the wall stain! I'd never heard of that spray paint before. Very useful.
Baby seals? You're so lucky. Although I do have some wildlife near me, but too close to London for anything too out of the ordinary.

Haha MT, from reading my past posts you know I am not normally so active!! Did sweet FA today apart from play catch with the doggies instead of walkies! I cant believe I never knew we had seals near by, I have been here my whole life! Was telling local work friends today who were equally amazed, must take hubby at some point! Also neglected to say I had a waffle with blue banana and bubblegum ice cream with candy syrup on top...phwoar!
Love payday, but the money shuffle is over too soon!! Gas has gone again, feels like its lasting no time, must be about three weeks which is normal. Trying to remind myself that I am allowed to be warm in my house and that we have budgeted for the ridiculous costs! Must order next lot at some point...

1st March before Payment- £176,107.93After- £174,864.18 (not including 700 as it hasn't cleared yet)LTV- 89.96%Daily Interest- £25.67Overall Interest- £744.67OP- £343.56 and £700Capital Paid-£499.08 (this is based on already taking the 1k out!)
So daily interest is still vomit worthy, but into the £174's! With the £700 and normal OP we should get into the 173's next month! Oush love this part of the mortgage month!
Thanks to Feb we should get a couple of days less interest next month which is always appreciated! And it's 44days until I can contact about remortgaging (not that I am counting with a countdown app or anything). Hubby also got all the sort code info to make small OP's. weirdly it isn't the mortgage details but others so that why it didn't work before. Will look online to set this up and send a TT over!

You have a 44 day countdown and I have a 9month countdown...! Love your vomit worthy terminology, but I suppose if you look back 12 months it would be vomit inducing! We halved our daily interest when we remortgaged last time and psychologically it made a huge difference. At the time FD where about the best for us, and I was strict on unlimited overpayment options as I knew we were going to go hard at the whole MFW malarkey.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

Haha it's good to be surrounded by like-minded people SJ! Hubby just laughed when he saw it on my phone! We won't be able to OP our 10% (£18500), so for us that isn't a worry yet, can't wait until it is though! Think that N@west will continue to be up there for us and hopefully will mean no lawyers etc needed so smoother and easier, that's the theory anyway and if they can't offer a competitive rate we will wait until the end of July then look at moving on, S@ntander look quite good as well and we would get cashback on that, plenty of options now we have 10%!
Just sent a TT of 9.61 from the house account to the new info, hopefully it will get there this time. Will keep checking!

Love the countdown app and glad you found some details that mean you can send payments over. The banks don't make it easy do they? The interest is vomit worthy, but I'm sure you will have it tumbling down in no time0

We were looking back last night and thinking about those first 2yrs and having no money at all - we must have been mad to stretch ourselves so much. With the rules now we never would have gotten a mortgage! It's all working out nicely now. Our daily interest in March 2012 was £16.41, so not that long ago really. We had 1 child in nursery and one cooking at that time too!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0
