Imagine 4 new learners at that junction. They'd be there all day afraid to move :)

Could be worse. It could be the same people ive seen in the past 2 days that failed to stop at a pedestrian crossing.

One was a little old lady who totally failed to spot that she almost ran 2 men over.

Seems its the season of treating red lights and people already on the crossing as stop if you can be bothered.

four way stop or all way stop is a little different

at a four way stop in the USA the line on the road is solid and there is a stop sign so everybody has to stop and the first person at the stop sign should go first

not seen anything like it in the UK but i would tend to treat it the same as four way stop

This appears to be one of the experimental junctions I read about on the MSA website recently. The theory is that by placing give way markings on every part of the junction, you will slow traffic down naturally as they have to sit and think about it. Of course in reality, the bully drivers will just go for it, the cyclists won't ever consider stopping or slowing for one moment, and the pedestrians should consider a short prayer before venturing forward. Give way markings indicate that you should cede to anyone already on the junction obviously, but when 1 or more vehicles arrive at the same time, it will always go down to who is polite, who is aggressive and inevitably, the only ones that will really decide who had priority will be the insurance assessors after the fact
Freebies you don't really need can be given to your local Hospice Charity shop so they can raise funds they desperately need. Pass on your good fortune :A
