Who has priority at this junction?

Who has priority? - Nobody
Should a mini-roundabout not be more appropriate? - Yes!
It's unusual, but not unique.0 -
I am struggling to get streetview usable/working.... but it looks like everybody has to stop ... and then you have to be polite/use your common sense...0

Wow, what a strange junction!
The obvious answer would be that any traffic already in the middle of the crossroads has priority, but if people reach different give way lines at the same time, then really nobody has priority as far as I'm aware. You'd have to do some kind of negotiating with the other drivers I think

It does update the address bar in Google Chrome so it depends what browser you're using I guess. What will your verse be?

Yes definitely a mini roundabout would be a better option here, or remove the give way lines at Emmanuel & Fernlea Roads. But if you're asking in an insurance situation I guess it's who got there first would technically have priority, and those making a right hand turn would be expected to give way to other users.PasturesNew wrote: »I am struggling to get streetview usable/working.... but it looks like everybody has to stop ... and then you have to be polite/use your common sense...

IMHO - the road that is a no through would not have priority nor would the opposite one to that. It being a 20mph traffic calmed one. But I agree it is a difficult one. Not sure if there'd be enough room for a MR. Perhaps an email to your local council highways dept to ask 4 some clarifying signage?0

If all four entry points have a give way sign then none of them have priority. The speed limits and traffic calming measures have nothing to do with it.
Because all four have give way lines, if any traffic is already in the middle of the crossroads then everybody must give way no matter what that car is doing... going straight on, turning left or turning right. It doesn't matter. Cars must give way.
If two or more cars reach the crossroads at the same time, then none of them have priority. Maybe a sign up saying 'give way to traffic on the right' - a concept we're already familiar with with roundabouts - would be in order here.
It wouldn't help when two people from opposite roads reach the junction at the same time, but would in all other cases.
Like someone said earlier, would make sense for traffic turning right to give way to other cars opposite them. What will your verse be?

Who has priority, The vehicle to your right or the vehicle that got to the junction first.
If 2 or more cars get there at the same time the most impatient driver will assume to have priority and pull out anyway.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Nothing unusual about that junction .... if you were American.

It's a typical 4-way Stop-type junction. For a UK version ... the 1st person there takes priority, then the junction to his left, then the junction to HIS left, etc. In essence ... give way to the vehicle to your right, but then take turns in sequence to access the junction.0 -
I've got one of those close to me in Cheshire. As it's rural its normally the tractor has right of way regardless of who gets there first
