  • Really worried about my landlord finding out about my bankruptcy. It was introductory service from estate agent and now only between landlord and us. The lease is due for renewal now and my partner has just been to ask if it can be done in his name only. Our landlord was in one of his rude abrupt moods demanding to know why. He wasn't told just yet incase they try and make us pay 6 months in advance like we had to when we initially moved in, on a single income now we just don't have that money available. If he won't allow that and we have signed to pay monthly for a year can they change the agreement to demand more upfront or worse throw us out? I couldn't handle the guilt of doing that to my family. Can anyone advise?

Haitch33, I would post your question on the main board as you will receive more replies and support.
