sentiment seems to have dropped off a cliff since december, though
i'm not sure whether to put some serious offers in soonish or risk EU QE
my guess is that EU QE will impact new builds rather than the rest of the market0 -
The possibility or reality of EU QE will have precisely zero UK impact.
It could be an excuse for procrastination for a handful of procrastination-prone UK buyers though.0 -

I'd agree that things appear to have slowed down towards the end of 2014 but EU QE? You're over thinking it.
A very short time after moving in you'll wonder why you spent so much time fannying about. Maybe prices will fall £30k after you move in but you must realise by now just how difficult it is to make short term house price forecasts. Why worry yourself into inaction for even longer?0 -

I believe the Paraguay central bank is meeting this month to discuss rates, perhaps he should hold off buying a house until that's been held? :rotfl:0 -

Best of luck to you, hope the market doesn't crash straight after you buy......0 -
its off topic but may i just say cutting your intake of animal protein to virtually zero will do wonders for your health
The point I was making was that buying into a bubble (like the late 80's) is risky because short term life happens (it's undeniable that people die, divorce etc.). Long term there is no argument.
Clearly some think it's fine because financial planning will sort it out - unfortunately that doesn't always happen.0 -
I don't know if that's supposed to be some clever joke about bulls or something but it's totally gone over my head.

No he's just a bit of a tool. If you get his jokes, that's the time to be concerned. :eek:0 -
Looking forward to the day Bubble gets his house. Hope we're all going to be invited to the housewarming??0

I think it's a reference to your deceased colleagues.
Diseases of wealth such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, certain cancers and the like are associated with consumption of animal proteins.
I have to admit it bemuses me that we have the highest standard of living in the world and should be wanting to live as long and as healthily as possible to soak up everything life has to offer - instead we seem to be actively trying to sabotage our health. I think bubble's a vegan.
He did say it was off topic!0
