Hi there, please can I be in this month for £450. I've dropped the amount by £50 so I am a bit nervous especially as I have been running down my stores! This is for a family of 2 adults and 3 bottomless pits of teens and preteens. We also have a cat but he doesn't eat much .0

Hi,
Going for £200 this month for two adults and one dog! That's £40 less a month!0 -
Can I join and put myself down for £250. Starting on the 26/08/2014 til 25/09/2014. Ive been following this thread for months and keeping track myself and got my spends down to about £250. Going to try to reduce my spends by £10 a month if I can manage this month.
Im also trying to build a store for Christmas, not to bothered about treats or sweets at this time but trying to build up basics. Ive got a box out back with washing up liquid, wash powder and toothpaste so far. Im only filling it with special offers I can find so come Jan /Feb when were skint Ive at least go plenty of basics. £0.00/£250.00March 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000 -
I badly need to get back on track. I've spend a fortune since son has been home from uni for the summer.
£40 per week please.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -
I would like to join please.
At £50 a week
I think that is do-able now we've switched where we do our main shopping. We always used to go to 2 of the main supermarkets but last week we tried Aldi and are very glad we did.
We used to spend £80-£110 a week in Mr T's and that was with one of their smaller trolleys filled to the brim. Mainly full of impulsive buys and then the shock at the checkout.
Last week we spent £93 in Aldi and although this was terribly high when we wanted to spend half that, it was our first shop there and we did have one of their biggest trolleys filled to the brim. So when you compare the 2 trolleys, we definitely got the better deal in Aldi.
We want no more impulse buys and just want the basics so I am thinking £50 a week is (hopefully) an easy target.S.E.E - 42.75
