Just popping in for a quick look-see at how the day has gone for you all .

TTFTM - I'm so sorry to hear how demoralised you've been feeling since your op. Just want to give you of reassurance. It's so mean when people point/stare/comment - but please be gentle with yourself, hun. Give yourself time to recover emotionally from the anaesthetic and op.

I'm not very good with words but thank goodness we've got plenty of others - especially candlelight / Mrs LW / Judi / dumpling - who seem to have the knack of 'right word at the right time'.

Thinking about your OH as well - hope something positive comes up for him soon .


Had another good shift at the CS this afternoon - and due for a 'full-day' tomorrow.

A couple of weeks ago, one of my colleagues mentioned that she'd love to have her 'family tree' looked into. I've been able to do four generations on one side for her, so I'm looking forward to taking the results in to her tomorrow, as she's down for working with me. Bit stuck with the 'other side', but may be able to ask her another couple of questions that might provide a better lead - so it's fingers crossed.

My Vegetable Lasagne worked out better than I thought it would. Got two portions left in the fridge - I'll take one to the shop with me for lunch - PLUS a portion of rather tasty Pasta Sauce has gone into the freezer :drool:.

I'm heading off to bed for an early night - well, it's early for me :rotfl:.
