TTFTM don't be so hard on yourself. Of course you don't look as good as you usually do,;) and I am sure you already know a general anaesthetic can make you weepy afterwards.
I am sorry DH is so unhappy in his job and as you say the prospect of finding another one is quite slim, but be kind to yourself. At the moment you can't take everything on because you must get yourself well again. Once you have done that, then perhaps you can help DH, and it might mean looking outside the box, and you never know miracles do happen sometimes.
You are always so kind to posters on this thread, so let us be kind to you:A, and if you feel a bit sorry for yourself, that's fine. In no time at all you will feel more like your old self and able to tackle DHs problems.
Sending gentle hugs and much love

Hey TTFTM it's what and who's inside that really counts, not what the outside looks like lovey, you shine in your posts, a good person with a ready sense of humour and much common sense who is more likely to help and encourage than judge and comment!!! This world could do with many more like you in it petal, it would most definately be a better place if there were. In the meantime, we'll just count ourselves lucky to have you in it!!! Chin up chicken, you'll get through this and thrive, Love and Hugs Lyn xxx.0

At times when your at your lowest, its usually more important to talk. Nothing good comes out of bottling things up.
Not wishing to make light of your disfigurement, have you seen this youtube tutorial?

Many hugs.I have to smile at folks having soup or something like that to take the edge off their appetite – if I did that, I wouldn't be able to eat a main course at all! I have a really tiny appetite; some days I'm full after just a few mouthfuls of food – yet I stubbornly stay too fat (currently 7lb overweight).:mad:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Thanks for sharing that Judi. She's a very pretty girl but I could never put that amount of make up on, I rarely wear any because I am allergic to so much stuff.
This is my favourite concealment video, it always makes me smile:

My sons ex. Young, natural blonde, pretty, petite .... probably everything a young girl could wish for except her mouth. She is the most vainest, nastiest person you could ever wish to meet. Her Facebook profile is set at public and the amount of nastiness she spouts on it is awful. She is the nastiest piece of work ive ever met.
I agree with Lyn, we could do more like you in this world.... and less like my sons ex and in real life I'd be proud to have you as a friend (I don't give a jot about what scars you have).

TTFM, so sorry you are feeling down, re your hubby, so sorry he's having to deal with so much carp too, unfortunately it seems to be the way things are, we have lost so many good teachers through bullying & spite. The ex staff who have obtained other jobs have mostly gone into special units, gone on to do supply & some have sold up & downsized to enable them to take poorly paid jobs. It's heartbreaking to see so many good people thrown aside, I know NQT's need jobs as well, but it's basically down to economics & NQT's are cheaper.
