Just sorted our car insurance. £34.15 a month with AA, £36.78 deposit which I've just paid... protected no claims, and £70 back from quidco..
Wooooo! Now to cancel our current insurance..Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Right all sorted..
Apparently we're all paid up with our insurance now so there's no more to pay and it's going to be cancelled from the renewal date. Sweet as... just need to wait for our stuff from the AA now and for our cashback to track
I LOVE quidco..
Edit.. just realised that by doing that we won't be able to pay off Citi in full next week.. but will only be about £30 short.... so either way we'll still only be a week or so away from paying it off totally. :TTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Great news Sar on Citi it must feel really good especially knowing that your dear Mum helped you to achieve this. XXNothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

Couldn't help but notice that Barclaycard is charging you 19.9%. They were doing the same to me but I called them up and said look you're issuing cards at much lower interest rates. I'm sure another lender would be happy to carry my debt instead of you. Why not make me an interest rate offer on my existing card that I can't refuse. They promptly dropped the rate to 9.9%. It took 5 mins.
I am fairly credit worthy (though I've got huge debts) however. Its worth a try though.
If you've done this already please accept my sincerest apologies for an attempt to "teach my grandmother to suck eggs"0 -

When it all pays out, it will give you a massive push towards clearing the cards! You might even have enough to clear the Barclaycard by then!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Well done Sarah, you should have Citi paid off asap and once all that Quidco and TCB comes in Barclaycard is history soon after. When does the 0% deal run out on Egg? Would they up your limit yet? What APR will Egg be when the deal ends? I am going to send you a PM so watch out for it.
