    Hello IA

Two years to the day.......... I think you've coped extraordinarily well with losing her......... but how terrible that you should have had to. She must have been pretty young too.

    Be kind to yourself today.

    It looks GREAT I-A!

Hairdressers, that's something I haven't yet cut back on cos I'm older than you and camouflaging grey hair is now a necessity :rotfl: Anyhow OH insists that the bathroom looks like a mad axewoman has been flaying around after I've tried to do my own, so he thinks it's worth the expense. Hair looking nice is SO flippin important, I feel awful when I'm overdue for a visit. (i feel awful therefore OH will feel awful)

    Your hair looks lovely sar.

It's 6 years since I lost my Mum and I can't believe how fast that's gone. But I still miss her so very much too. I don't think that ever goes. I spent a good while crying for her again yesterday, I was sorting out some photos to have on the wedding table, so I feel like she's there. My flowers are going up to her grave too. I think we'll always miss them, but we both had wonderful mothers and I am so glad she was my Mum, even if it wasn't for long enough.

One of her favourite sayings was, I'd rather have 5 minutes of wonderful than a lifetime of nothing special. And she did have a wonderful life, as I'm sure your mum did too.

  • !!!!{hugs}}} to you both.

It's coming up to TEN years since my mum died - that's a DECADE! how can that be?!

Anyway, 2 years is really a very short time IA, be kind to yourself. they say it takes 7 years to come out the other side of a bereavement... but as we all know we come out stronger and more aware of the beauty of life and they things that really are important, so that's the positives, i guess. *sigh*

Oh my god, I'm a complete wreck this morning, first I was crying at the post about your Mum (you speak so simply and so movingly about her), and then I was laughing and crying at the same time at the carrots and K's little face!

Am I still allowed to blame hormones?

You're only allowed if I'm allowed! That pic of natasha was gorgeous she's coming on so quickly... thanks for sending it. :)

The biggest irony is that the cheque for that £250 from mum's policy arrived today. Am going to put it in the bank on the way to the cemetary. Funny how things work out.

Glad you got the picture okay, that means I can stalk you by text now as well as on here and on MSN......mwahahahahaha......:rotfl:

It's lovely when things happen to make you feel that someone is watching over you. A bit of her lives on in you and in your children, so she will always be with you.
