Texting to charity to use up credit
Options
I'm leaving my current mobile provider T*sc0 to join giff goff with the transfer due to happen on Weds.
I understood I could donate my leftover credit to charity but when I went through the process on the giff goff website, I got directed to the giff goff just giving page and was left a little confused as I thought it was an automatic process.
Anyhow, I then had the bright idea to text a donation which I've done twice now to the PDSA but my texts haven't been acknowledged. Again, I thought it would be instant?
I just wondered if I've done something wrong? What I've typed looks correct but I've never done this before so don't really know what I'm doing.
I don't want the credit to just be lost.

Is the credit, by any chance, free credit supplied by Tesco for topping up with them?
If it is then they do not allow you to use your free credit for premium rate services0 -
Try texting a different charity service, not one on Just Giving, if that doesn't work then there's probably another issue.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0
