    MainBlue - very interesting reading!

It's obviously a big risk with Balotelli but I think the Liverpool fans will really take to him too. Wages are rumoured to be around 90k per week and, according to reports, the transfer is subject to a 'good behaviour' clause. (how long that lasts remains to be seen).

Hoping he proves every doubter wrong and shows his true talent.

    Here's the song compsalex

    Oh Balotelli he’s a striker…
    He’s good at darts.
He’s allergic to grass, but when he plays he’s ****ing class.
Drives round Moss Side with a wallet full of cash,
Can’t put on his vest but when he does he is the best.
Goes into schools, tells teachers all the rules.
Sets fire to his gaff with rockets from his bath.
Doesn’t give a ****,‘cause he did it for a laugh,
Runs back to his house for a suitcase full of cash,
    Oh Balotelli …”

That must have taken some time for the fans to universally learn the words.

I often wonder how, or by what process, does everyone get to know the words. Does it start by one person singing and gradually those around him join in or is there a group of fans who have rehearsed the song prior to the match, then more join in when they hear it.

Hoping Liverpool can manage to get something from the City game tomorrow.

No complaints. Liverpool had a decent first half but the big difference is in the overall quality of the squads. City have a settled quality side who can bring on a player of Aguero's ability as a sub!! - and take off Silva.

Liverpool need to concentrate primarily on a top 4 finish this season. It's going to take them a while to figure out their best starting line-up with all the new players they've brought in.

City or Chelsea for the title based on performances so far.

Great second goal for City last night by the way.

(Did City dig out the Balotelli song again last night?)

Yeah, Liverpool gave us a game - especially in the first 30 minutes, but we were patient and defended superbly all night (OG was a tad unlucky). Sterling scared the hell out of us and was glad to see him substituted.

There's these big screens at City and they kept showing us images of Balotelli, who looked chirpy throughout. Then after the third goal they zoomed in on him and he looked miserable, really miserable. So we laughed and then sang the song to cheer him up.
