Exactly. I'll be watching to see some good football, because Man Utd certainly didn't provide that on the opening day!
Love all, trust a few. Do wrong to none.

Hmmmmmmm, this thread seems a bit premier league biased. I'll get it rolling for us lesser teams. The Super Seagulls finally scored (and won) last night !.

    Hi all.

Liking the idea of this football chat so figured I would join in. And thanks for allowing us utd fans in haha. :T

Obviously disappointed with the result at the weekend and already losing ground to our rivals. Both City and Chelsea looked strong in the opening and the top 4 has taken shape after just 1 game!

Lets hope we improve this weekend against Sunderland and looking forward to the first mega clash of the season on Monday night.

Yes, well said, there is life outside the premiership, good old style football clubs, owned by the fans and with English players... and massive debts :D

    Play up Pompey

There absolutely is. I enjoy getting to see my local team when possible, which is Northampton Town. So good result last night for Pompey!

Liverpool agree £16m fee for Balotelli. They get rid of one nutter and bring in another!

I'm sure there's a Man City supporter on here somewhere who may wish to add his comments.

It's an amazing purchase. Compare £16m for Balotelli with some of the other transfer fees paid this summer.

There's no doubting his talent if he applies himself.

Another from the lower leagues here. Nice to see the mighty blades (Sheffield United) actually kicking our !!!! in gear 3 matches in. A lot of teams are looking at us as favourites, as a fan I wish they'd leave us be as any pressure and we crumble

If you get a mature, hard working, none argumentative Balotelli compsalex then £16M is a bargain. I'd be interested to see what his salary is though and how that will wind up other Liverpool players.

City fans loved him; he was (is) a complete nutter (and we had the best chant ever for him); however, since he left (and Mancini too) the mood in the camp has been a lot better.

He can be amazing one day and just dreadful the next. If he was half as good as he believes he is then he'd be one helluva player. By the time he left City I don't think there were too many fans that upset to see him go; we were just narked as we couldn't sing his song anymore.

Just go and google 'Balotelli shame' and you see 454,000 results. That's impressive.

    Have fun reading this lot
