They didn't need to take the measly 50p booking fee from me .
Instead they had a sign up in the food part saying 2 for £6.50 make it large +£1
Over an image of a drink + popcorn, nachos or hot dog.
So like the generous hubby I am I got 2 large drinks nachos and a hot dog :T
£15 felt like I had been held up at gunpoint, she never even said "have an nice day or sorry"

DDs nursery asks for us to supply factor 50 sun tan lotion so I bought a couple of these as fillers in an AvT shop (according to MSL it was safe to do so, lying boogers  :rotfl:)
Paid £1.50 each, multibuys shown in red below
AvT
2x Nivea Sun Pure & Sensitive Spray SPF 50 (200ml) £12.00 £15.00
AvS & AvW
2x Nivea Sun Pure & Sensitive Spray SPF 50 (200ml) £12.00 N/A
AvM
2x Nivea Sun Pure & Sensitive Spray SPF 50 (200ml) £12.00 £12.00 :money:
So buy in 2s AvM and end up paying 90p each. Not as good as the other glitch but good if you need factor 50 and more likely to be stockApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Mimi, you can get convertors but they are expensive because they have to convert analogue to digital. What is the model of the TV, it should be on the box or on the back of the TV.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

David, the Sky Box does not have one of those small sockets. It's got one of those huge SCART socket hole things.
Zippy, the tv has a HDMI1 and a HDMI2 socket hole thing.
The Sky Box is a Panasonic one. The tv is a Technica thing. I know it sounds cheap and nasty and I am beginning to think it is.
Thanks for your replies.

It's alright - I'm just looking at my M list and doing my "revision" in preparation for my "exam" tomorrow, in which I'm supposed to memorise all of what's on there and any changes:rotfl::laugh:.
Somehow I'm to keep track of prices on some 'new' items that I found in Wrexham last time that aren't available in my stores locally.:rotfl::rotfl: Ah well - I might just pretend:D:D:rotfl:.0 -

I searched ebay and quickly went passed one for £46
your best bet is to get a more modern box from sky, maybe say to them your thinking of going to virgin as you need a hdmi socket. ignore the number after that as its only indicating you have more than 1 hdmi inlet in your tv0
