DDs nursery asks for us to supply factor 50 sun tan lotion so I bought a couple of these as fillers in an AvT shop (according to MSL it was safe to do so, lying boogers  :rotfl:)
Paid £1.50 each, multibuys shown in red below
AvT
2x Nivea Sun Pure & Sensitive Spray SPF 50 (200ml) £12.00 £15.00
AvS & AvW
2x Nivea Sun Pure & Sensitive Spray SPF 50 (200ml) £12.00 N/A
AvM
2x Nivea Sun Pure & Sensitive Spray SPF 50 (200ml) £12.00 £12.00 :money:
So buy in 2s AvM and end up paying 90p each. Not as good as the other glitch but good if you need factor 50 and more likely to be stock
Another piece of trickery on their part! Although, when did msl ever say it was "safe" vs T? On msm.co.uk, I have the following - shows it's 2 vs T at total of £15:eek::(:
Nivea Sun Pure & Sensitive Spray SPF 50 (200ml)
£7.00 at
any 2 for £12.00
£3.50/£3.00/100ml
Add to basket
Price Comparison
A £7.00 any 2 for £12.00
O £7.00
Superdrug [Strike]£14.99[/Strike] £7.48
T £7.50 *
M N/A
S N/A
W N/A
Obviously this means it's £6 each for Morries:rotfl:.
Alright - all done, all ready now for the pointless checking in M tomorrow. Anyone want me to look at any Niveas/any other Niveas? I presume only this one because others are less than factor 50 and therefore wouldn't be worthwhile?0 -
Mimi if your tv doesn't have a sky socket do as zippy says and get a new box out of sky

I have just had a very rude man knock on my door:(wearing a high vis jkt and with a clipboard(both of which can be purchased in the £1 shop;)) telling me they are working in the area and it looked like I was in need of a new driveway .On telling him I could not afford to have that done he promptly said how the hell do you know I haven't told you the price yet with that I shut the front door a bit pronto and left him muttering to himself. On a Sunday afternoon at 5 oclock I don't think so:rotfl::rotfl:

Go on aau1, post your failed shop with that Nivea Sun Spray in it. Let's see how much you lost!
:rotfl::rotfl:I was talking with someone about this earlier - the concept of "failed shops". An idea that, for most people, does not exist and does not even enter their mind. Most people, 'ordinary' shoppers, just buy everything in one shop and don't expect anything back at all. (And then do useless 'top-up' shops during the week, likelihood being lot of items are same price and not 10% lower, but not getting anything there as not bought enough items.) We, on the other hand, call it a 'failed shop' if it doesn't give loads back:rotfl:.0 -

No. To be frank:D:D:p:rotfl::rotfl:. Not with Pick-ups etc. earlier. What a horrible price that 84p is - and the £1.00 even more horrible, just about the worst price it could be from our POV. And the price that most people are more likely to buy at!:(:rotfl::rotfl:
Pity the poor people (maybe literally if they keep on going on that way?) who buy them in Poundland and think they're automatically getting a good deal because "£1 is a good price":(.- in other words, it is not!! £1 is a very expensive price sometimes or a lot of times. However, people more generally have this perception that it isn't. Which, of course, enables the 'pound shops' to work. Sometimes, watch out for this!, you get lower weighted products of some items in pound stores, such as your antiseptic creams. So, what looks a good deal at £1, is in fact more expensive for the amount you get.
