Just had a quick scan back over the last few pages - had a monster headache all morning so been trying to stay away from the screen for a bit.

Well done on the weightloss Tweets :j I seem to lose a few pounds then put a couple on so my journey to normal sizedom is going to take forever :(

Hope your back starts to feel better soon Snap x

I managed to mess up my A shop yesterday - thought I was being clever buying A offers on the same shop as the toothbrushes and ended up losing out....live and learn ;) I know know to have a list for mocs, 1 for apgs and seperate ones for tmf/mbg - oh and others for cb apps! Head not up to it today though.

DD1 had her dating scan - 11wks 5 days. Doc has advised waiting til next week to have the stones removed from her bile duct, taking her over 12 weeks (presume so babs central nervous system is better developed) They have said she can come home and go back in as a daycase next week :T Still not out of the woods but seems much more positive news this morning.

Happy shopping everyone - seems I missed the BS glitch, got really excited for a minute :rotfl:

good afternoon all hope everyone is well, xx
I put a wanted on freecycle last night for demijohns- someone has very kindly said they'll drop a couple off for me today, but as a noob freecycler, is there a particular etiquette for situations like this? Am I expected to offer some recompense for fuel or something? :o

our standard policy is a box of eggs as a gesture to say thanks, as we always have eggs spare, but when we got our conservatory of freecycle they got a box of eggs and some jam as i was so pleased :D
most people do not bother though have given things away but never given anything back so its down to what you feel happy with, but i am sure on our freecycle rules it says never offer money even for delivery,

I have added everything to my basket but cant get the code to work. Any help appreciated as i would love to place an order

If you've tried the variations of the code that I posted about and it still doesn't work, I would say that it's definitely finished :(

Don't think it is looking good on the job front again. Ds had interview on Tuesday, we worked out that over 2 days the company would be interviewing at least 400 people for only 30 jobs.

He spoke with someone he knows and who also had a job interview on the Wednesday and he has been given a job told by phone yesterday.

I guess i will have to pick up all the pieces yet again when he get's the rejection email/letter. Why can't a company just give him a bloody chance to show them what he can do.

The disability advidor at the jobcentre is a complete waste of time, why he is in that job is beyond me, he thinks DS shouldnt worry about a job as he gets his benefits. 18 year old just left to rot on the benefit pile.

so fed up, he would be better off money wise on benefits, but all he wants is to have a job like "normal" people do. Soul destroying.

i know how you feel my son is also struggling to find a job:( he is 20 and says he is a bum :( as he has no job, he is badly dyslexic and does struggling with reading so this is not helping, he does have 2 days work a week one gardening and one stonewalling, so I told him that is better than some but he really wants a full time job. He is qualified in land based engineering but is appyling for anything now even a trainee butcher .. hopefully something will come up

    Another good morning  :rotfl:

Just dug some potatoes up. I planted these potatoes several years ago when I had a 5 minute surge of energy:D . Every year I dig them up and try to get the small ones out but obviously there are some left behind. Goodness knows what they will taste like :rotfl:
Tried to get all the small useless ones out as well but will see next year if more spring up

OH has announced he wants to go to m&s to get some food.:eek: Anyone know of any offers there that will help me to get to £25 to use a GR

    tia :)

    They were delicious :D

Did a muggle shop at M&S. Got it to £25 before discounts and ended up paying £15 so not too bad and OH has food he actually might eat :rotfl:
Accidentally didnt put my GR voucher in the slot its suppose to go. Can they be used again?

    tia :)

If you are normal weight I wouldn't worry.

Before the holidays I was struggling to fasten my work uniform trousers  and stood on scales thinking I was around one weight and could have cried I was no where near weight I thought :(

So decided there and then to join SW looked at classes and the one nearest me have 2 classes Saturday morning  when I am at mums so that was a no no. So online I joined to get all the details ;)

Mum doesn't know I doing SW so will see how long it takes here to notice ;)

I have never been stick insect thin :(

Wow. Go you. Is there anything in particular you are doing as in not eating anymore? I wish I could stay away from bread and crisps. That's my downfall.

Time to hit the gym. Wish me luck.

I am also on week one - using myfitnesspal on my ipad and a step counter - apparently its going to be 39 weeks before I am anywhere near what is considered "normal" -
(no I am not the size of a routemaster bus, size 14 on the rear and nearer 16 on the top half)
if your physical health will allow it then setting yourself a target for steps really helps. I set myself a low 6 thousand but I've actually been doing over 12 each day and it really seems to be making my metabolic rate move
I've never had to worry about my weight very much but hormones sabotaged me and so this is a whole new world of misery and pain I am having to get used to - or not!

(39 weeks - OMG I could have had a baby in that time!)

I use the app myfitnesspal also so would appreciate if other users can add me as a friend, it might motivate me to stick with it more regularly :D I've not logged in for a week as been feeling unwell but I'll start again tomorrow (I know thats what all dieters say :o ) My username is same as on here, Evangeline1971
