Hi don't you have to take into account the two stamps needed to get the tmf. Stamps aren t cheap nowadays are they ?

Nowadays? Who said I was buying stamps nowadays? I bought all mine before the ridiculous price hike :o

I thought I would have used them all by now but it's amazing how often stampie doesn't meet frankie IYKWIM ;)

Besides, when I received my Birds Eye and Velvet cheques they both paid out the cost of the product plus 53p towards the cost of the postage :money:

If Butchers doesn't pay out towards postage I'm still up a fair bit and I also get that warm buzz from tipping the cans into the cat food collection bin

    Good morning all...
Quick question if I may as I'm growing in confidence with A and apg....
The JF/impulse glitch...is it just click and collect or can I do it in store?
My store has it all in stock so could give it a go...but I've not got my head round the whole c&c thing yet...
    Thanks all...

Don't know if it's been answered as not fully caught up but Impulse glitch you have to do instore as it's not on a.com but you can still do the glitch using a conditioner that the computer is confused about.

No need for embarassment - I bought all mine then as well. Not using many stamps at all, we communicate more via email and telephone. When I sent off one recent offer, I got postage back based on the current price rather than what I'd actually paid:rotfl:. And, just after the 'hike', I actually saved as I needed to send a large letter of a certain weight - despite the hike, the cost of that actually went effectively down in price, at least when the '1st' and '2nd' new values (paid for at old price the week before the prices went up) were counted. Helpfully they made the large letter price an exact amount to reach on the new cost of 1st and 2nd class stamps. The previous week, on the old stamp prices, I would never have been able to make up that value!:money::rotfl::rotfl:

Little aau and I had a lovely lunch today with mrsmac10

It was great to meet you in RL and have a wee blether.

Bananababe, I hope all is going well with college and that you can make our next meeting

By the way, mrsmac10....the A next to where we met has several packs of Try me Free Butchers cat food. If you and your OH have still to claim these on CoS then you might want to pick these up. I don't know if you have a cat or not but there is a Cat Protection collection bin in that store you could dump the tins into (just keep the outer wrapper for your TMF claim)

I put two non-TMF packs in front of the TMF packs so hopefully they won't sell before you get a chance to go
