Thank you for all the messages re DH. Too many to quote but think I managed to thank them all

DS who lives in london came home at 4a.m. He had been at Edinburgh festival. The train he was on arrived at kings x 2 + hours late due to having to stop on the way for some reason. When the train eventually got to kings x the train company offered to pay for cabs home, so instead of going back to his london home, came home to me. Another passenger was coming to this area too so was not taking the p. How mse is that, saves him paying for train today as was planning on coming here. Also he says can claim the train fare to edinburgh and back due to delay of over 2 hours.
Lucky my hearing dog Tessa woke me up when the doorbell went or else he would have still been on the doorstep :rotfl:
Oh yeah. Forgot to mention it was Tessa that woke me up when my OH was having breathing problems :T

Thanks Tweets, still not sure what they are doing with DD. They put her on a surgical ward last night but they say this mornig they don't want to operate if possible but keeping her in for a few days to monitor her.
