  • I've just had my first mince pie of the year :j Damn you Greggs, being open, having parking outside and selling freshly cooked mince pies :rotfl:

I was wondering about going to his house but like you say I would be unsure about doing that :( Wonder what the other elite thinks ?
Would putting a note through Scamps's door do any harm, would Mrs S see it I wonder and wonder what it was about?
I just wish I had better news. I'd go to his house but I'm not sure it would be the right thing to do :o

Thanks for looking out for scamps at carboot.:T
I tried emailing him but the email addy was no longer in use.:(

Maybe write a note or card, and drop it off at his house? Then he knows you've been in person, which shows you really care (of course), but you don't have to meet in person if he doesn't want to? Saying something like "I'll be at [someplace, maybe next carboot?] at [somedate]" ... then it's totally up to him? With a typed label and in a plain DL envelope, so it just looks boring and non-personal in case Mrs S spots it?

I'll put a little something in the post for him :)

There's always kids in buggies with greggs sausage rolls hanging out their mouths

I don't like them, they don't feel like they're cooked properly :rotfl:

In my defence I don't normally go in there because parking is difficult at best and I prefer to spend my calories on nicer food :D

Thanks Bubbs, I've just ordered one. Been looking for a good deal on pressure washers as my new house has a big printed concrete driveway.
