    Hi this is my first post but have been reading this thread with interest. I'm single, 31, a Londoner and having trouble meeting single men especially when trying to live within a budget. All my singles friends and I are slightly nervous about signing up to dating sites but this seems to be the way to go these days. Where have all the decent single men gone?!! I will pass on the sites mentioned here. Will let you know how it goes! Fingers crossed.

    I was just out with a group of my friends when i met my OH, wasnt looking for someone but thats how it goes. we moved in together after a few weeks and been happy ever since 19 months later. bless him ha!

    No they're not. Since moving North I've picked up a couple of stalkers and managed to marry the single most disturbed male on the planet. Seriously, he was a walking psychology handbook. So many issues that they all clash and give the appearance of sanity (until something pushed his buttons and he turned into Mr Psycho of The Year)

    Stay down south, at least the men there don't write you letters in blood and break into your apartment to steal your undies - would have been flattered except he took my horrible grey saggy bummed ones.....they were comfy they were.....
    This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
