Asda complaint email - bad service!

I have no idea about Asda so couldn't comment but certainly in many companies the procedure would be far more rigorous. There would likely be an assessment at some level about whether the complaint was genuine, but I can imagine for many employees that letter would stay on their file, primarily in case there are further incidents.
If the driver has worked there a while and has had no other complaints DaveTheMus's version is pretty much exactly what will happen.0 -
No i don't think so, if a man stood so close i had to stick my head near his crotch every time i bent down i would tell him to back the hell up. But I can imagine someone not as assertive as myself would feel intimidated by it.
Have experienced something similar on public transport with men only moving just enough so i still have to rub against them. It's a power thing, and i know that most men are lovely gentlemanly guys, wouldn't behave like that, and probably don't understand this issue but it does occur.
In that case the OP should demand compensation for sexual harassment.
Or maybe they could learn to bend properly so they're not showing their knockers to the driver?0 -

Every shop I've had delivered has always been the same: Friendly drivers & always happy to help you in any way.
They bring the baskets right to your doorstep & pass you the bags. If anything missing or substituted they tell me straight away before handing me the bags.
(I always know anyway as I get a text beforehand to say if my order is complete or has substituted items.)
Yes I know some ppl don't like Morrisons & they were the last to go online, but IMO I think they are the best for online shopping.
I guess it's down to personal preference though.0 -

I was offered a £5 voucher to shop online and I don't feel this is acceptable as I do not wish to risk having my order delivered by the same rude driver again. He could barely say a word to me despite me being friendly and thrust the receipt in my hand with no explanation. When I asked if there were any substitutions he just said 'looks like it'. I hesitated before getting my shopping (I have a bad back) and he said: 'well it's yours' to imply 'don't expect me to pass it to you' so I had to bend down repeatedly in front of him as he did not step back and stood directly in front of me - as a woman this made me feel very uncomfortable. After wordlessly implying I should sign, he then stormed off without even saying goodbye. I felt like I had done something wrong! I feel really let down by Asda, this atrocious experience is the first time I have shopped with you in years; I normally shop online with Waitrose or Sainsburys and the difference is remarkable. So no, I do not want a mere £5 voucher to shop online with you to experience the same again and wish for this complaint to be escalated to the next stage.
Just for reference what is the e-mail address you need to use to direct complaints to Asda have a few of my own to address :mad:0 -
Asda direct, absolutely atrocious, ordered item 4th Oct, still waiting for delivery, currently still at there warehouse, despite many expensive calls to there so called customer support team which is in Africa by the way, and they are utterly useless and will blatantly lie to you, and that's if you can understand them, so far it cost me £200 in lost wages waiting in for promised delivery's that never turned up, and god knows how much on phone calls, moneysaving tip, avoid asda direct.0

It is somewhat ironic that you're criticising someone's English when you can't even use the correct "there". :rotfl:0 -
Why don't you just shop elsewhere. Don't be so melodramatic0

How exactly is that ASDA's fault?
Go and pickup your shopping! Who in the right mind wilfully looses out on £200 of wages waiting for shopping to be delivered.
Nobody to blame but you.
I used to work for a computer repair company who worked on an appointment bases. We'd get people calling up (with no prior contact) saying they'd taken the day off work to get their PC fixed and want to bring it in RIGHT NOW and got all huffy when told sorry we don't have any appointments left for today. They'd then start demanding x amount of money for lost wages, at which point they'd be told to stick their computer up their bottom and stop being so stupid!0 -
